  • You are probably correct in me hearing singlelane based upon my American ear Wow that is depressing. I know they were extremely basic. The “Murphy bed in the wall” one a alcove was something she has spoke off. I think they became slums. But I think they were just lower class residence when they lived there. Yes, she recalls the toilet at the end of the close. She still uses the term “spend a penny” As the the toilet door was coin operated by Flipmstr2 (Sun 10th Jan 2021 6:35pm)
