  • I do all classes at places with wifi like Starbucks or similar places and go into the library to get extra work done on days off It’s not an ideal situation but it’s the best I’ve got for now, there isn’t any word right now on when we will be back in the class which is frustrating Personally I do admit that if there isn’t any physical learning by at least by next term at latest I might lose a lot of motivation to continue my studies and feel like giving up on getting a degree by GMD3S1GNS (Fri 30th Oct 2020 10:08pm)
  • I mean there’s a lot of extra measures in place to ensure safety and social distancing at my college of temperature checks, hand sanitisers, mask mandate and so on. Feel like it’s all set to go once classes are allowed to continue. Before the pubs closed I did asked myself how come we can’t go to class but sitting in restaurants, pubs etc is fine, could even go sit on a long flight if I wanted to It’s frustrating and just wanted to get it off my chest by GMD3S1GNS (Fri 30th Oct 2020 10:14pm)
  • Yes I understand that it’s a serious pandemic There’s also a rise in suicides among students this year that have given up hope I wanted to share my thoughts on this issue and speak up for fellow students that may be feeling the same way right now by GMD3S1GNS (Fri 30th Oct 2020 10:20pm)
  • In that case I understand but feel like the students with me included that just want to learn in the classroom, following the guidelines necessary etc should have a voice in this situation I can’t make excuses for the people that don’t follow the rules, can completely understand why it looks bad on students as a whole and will be part of the problem but do hope that most of us are good and just want to do what we can by GMD3S1GNS (Fri 30th Oct 2020 10:39pm)
  • Thanks, appreciate that sorry to hear about all you’ve gone through by GMD3S1GNS (Fri 30th Oct 2020 10:56pm)
  • Wow, that’s crazy by GMD3S1GNS (Wed 18th Nov 2020 5:44pm)
  • Amazing picture, never seen this before, wow Always heard stories about his performance at Hampden in 78, must’ve been a great experience for people that got to witness that game by GMD3S1GNS (Wed 25th Nov 2020 6:22pm)
  • Yeah I can agree with that which is a shame because it’s got a lot of promise, can’t even remember the last time I was there and there wasn’t any scaffolding or construction work going on lol by GMD3S1GNS (Wed 2nd Dec 2020 1:20pm)
  • Just seen that story about 2 posts above this one about someone being threatened this morning with a syringe, personally I’m embarrassed about the state of our city that we love right now by GMD3S1GNS (Wed 2nd Dec 2020 9:22pm)
  • I was referring to the other homeless people throughout the city that aren’t junkies who are genuine people out there struggling more deserving of help, I imagine people wouldn’t be scared of union street and wouldn’t need police around that area every week if it was those people being housed. If someone wants to throw away their benefits on drugs, threaten and intimidate people going about their day, I’m sorry that I can’t feel sympathy for any of these people, they chose that lifestyle long ago by GMD3S1GNS (Wed 2nd Dec 2020 9:20pm)
  • I wasn’t targeting the staff if you thought I was btw, just saying that it must be tough for them having to work in that street and feel sorry for them. Yeah I agree, would love to see union street improved, think our city in general has a lot of promise that could come with good investment which it is in some areas, love the seeing the new buildings around and ones in the process of being built by GMD3S1GNS (Wed 2nd Dec 2020 9:25pm)
  • Still have the nostalgia of being a kid and going to Woolworths at Christmas on union street, it’s got a few of my favourite shops located there now which is great but definitely needs an upgrade, we’ll see how it goes, think a lot of investment is coming to the city anyway by GMD3S1GNS (Wed 2nd Dec 2020 9:31pm)
  • Got to say I miss the Christmas markets as much as the next person but George square does look incredible with all the lights and decorations that I feel like I’m able to appreciate more without all those stalls up, walking down Buchanan street with the lights up is always special as well, some positives to end 2020 on by GMD3S1GNS (Thu 3rd Dec 2020 8:10pm)
  • Was thinking about those bratwursts and mulled wine earlier this week lol, love those Remember spending about £20 on a pick n mix a few years ago (worth it) and free samples of cheese Can’t wait to see the markets again hopefully next year by GMD3S1GNS (Thu 3rd Dec 2020 10:44pm)
  • Was there about a 2 hours ago lol, such an incredible place to just stand around and admire the scenery by GMD3S1GNS (Mon 7th Dec 2020 4:14pm)
  • Yeah, only [source](https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/news/scottish-news/teenager-dies-near-strathclyde-university-23140049) I’ve found so far and not sure how serious the whole thing is but RIP to the victim definitely by GMD3S1GNS (Wed 9th Dec 2020 12:43pm)
  • Oh right, heard from another comment that was deleted that it was something to do with BLM. wasn’t aware the leftist propaganda was still going on, just seen a few anti-police signs in kelvingrove park. Not really my thing but to each their own I guess, I’m mostly on the right but yeah believe in free speech and right to protest by GMD3S1GNS (Sat 20th Mar 2021 3:08pm)
  • Yep, the whole abolishing or defunding police rhetoric doesn’t make any sense to me. If anything they’re underfunded and we need them for our community as there’s always going to dangerous people in the world that only want to do harm. Those riots that happened last summer in the US, hope we don’t ever see anything like that in Glasgow by GMD3S1GNS (Sat 20th Mar 2021 3:21pm)
  • Ok, was only giving my opinion, sorry for saying so Was already considering taking my own life this weekend Thanks for making my mind up by GMD3S1GNS (Sat 20th Mar 2021 4:43pm)
