  • If you're moving to Glasgow the one thing you should know is that it's a very small city, you can easily save a few hundred pounds per month by living outwith the West End and be able to walk there in 20/30 minutes or an all-day ticket on the subway is £4. by Glasweegie (Tue 14th Apr 2020 12:11pm)
  • I think the original was great and I do hope the council get you guys back in to re-do it or even a new take on it. Although pass the message onto the lads that their graffiti was shite and that they look like idiots for spraying fuck fame + Instagram, when they've sprayed their names and a hashtag on top of their mess. by Glasweegie (Tue 14th Apr 2020 1:20pm)

  • I’ve stayed in Carntyne for a few months now after staying in the city centre for 2 years. The area is fine and I’ve had no bother since moving and everyone I’ve had the chance to speak to have been really friendly and down to earth. It’s got its good bits and not so good bits but that’s just like 80% of the west of Scotland. The East End gets a bad rap but there is a real sense of community around the place. by Glasweegie (Thu 4th Feb 2021 10:00pm)
  • Will try that sounds fantastic by Glasweegie (Thu 3rd Jun 2021 11:34pm)

  • Internal recruiter here, whilst codeclan is a great and viable pathway into software development just remember this has become massively popular, you will need to do things to stand out from other recent graduates. First of all, I’d look at the current market and see where there is most opportunity for career earnings & growth (React development is in just now), register with GitHub and solely focus on this area, build apps when you ever have some free time and actively contribute to your portfolio, the more you can add to your portfolio the more you will stand out. I hope this helps and best of luck in your journey of software development! by Glasweegie (Thu 1st Dec 2022 2:56pm)
