  • Oh yeah I’ve heard only bad things about Italy, glad to hear that you feel at home here and have had a great experience so far by GregMarshall94 (Fri 5th Jun 2020 7:23pm)
  • Yeah I’ve always heard casual racism here especially when I was in school some of the kids would target the minorities for bullying I’ve never thought to ask what someone that’s black, Asian etc what their experience here is like by GregMarshall94 (Fri 5th Jun 2020 7:21pm)
  • Agree, most of them nowadays just hide behind their keyboards to express racist views I’ve always lived in schemes and had my fair share of coming across shitty people lol that make our communities look bad, one place I’ve heard racism is at football games as well when my dad would take me years ago and looking back it kinda disturbs me that people can be as racist as they want towards a player down on the pitch and comfortable enough to do so in that environment by GregMarshall94 (Fri 5th Jun 2020 7:27pm)
  • My dad took me to a couple of games but honestly I hate both old firm clubs, all just a mess for me for the amount of sectarianism involved Crazily enough I think that moment I experienced was someone shouting racist abuse at a player on his own team for making a mistake by GregMarshall94 (Fri 5th Jun 2020 7:47pm)
  • Omg that’s awful, hate people like that by GregMarshall94 (Fri 5th Jun 2020 8:57pm)
  • Completely agree, progressive country lol, I wish, lot of our communities are just left to rot Pariah, yeah I’d feel the same, in society we often feel like we just have to accept things the way they are and don’t have the courage to speak up against people by GregMarshall94 (Fri 5th Jun 2020 9:01pm)
  • True, especially with the old firm existing here and realised that I never really questioned segregated schools in the past just assuming that it was normal that catholic’s went to different schools by GregMarshall94 (Fri 5th Jun 2020 9:48pm)
  • Seen a lot of people on Twitter talking about that first part of your comment, it’s crazy how heated people will get to defend those slurs by GregMarshall94 (Fri 5th Jun 2020 10:18pm)
  • Oh wow I completely forgot about that insult when someone does something disgusting, it’s terrible just remembering and thinking about the many times I’ve heard it around friend groups I had in the past or around older people by GregMarshall94 (Fri 5th Jun 2020 10:28pm)
  • It’s not the same and I don’t want to compare the two of course. But growing up with mild autism and ADHD always struggling throughout life especially school, I got bullied a lot for it, called retarded, a spastic etc, I honestly hope for the sake of similar people to me going through school, more is being done about that kind of discrimination as well by GregMarshall94 (Sat 6th Jun 2020 3:31pm)
  • I was around the front, could probably find myself in one of those pictures or roughly where I was. It was crowded but wasn’t too bad where I was, plenty of elbow room but far from 2m apart, everyone was wearing masks though which was quite responsible and the police officers there were well behaved just letting it all go on by GregMarshall94 (Sun 7th Jun 2020 6:47pm)
  • That’s so cool, definitely going to look for it at some point, Glasgow has some amazing street art by GregMarshall94 (Sun 7th Jun 2020 6:55pm)
  • Sorry should’ve said large majority was wearing masks from what I seen while I was there and there was also people handing out masks at the entrance which was a nice touch by GregMarshall94 (Sun 7th Jun 2020 7:25pm)
  • Thanks, just had a look on google, menu looks good, had no idea it existed by GregMarshall94 (Mon 8th Jun 2020 5:03pm)
  • Okay I’ll check it out sometime by GregMarshall94 (Mon 8th Jun 2020 8:58pm)
  • Has it been open this whole time? I remember being there just before the lockdown when a couple of shops were still open, weird experience with it so quiet by GregMarshall94 (Fri 12th Jun 2020 6:21pm)
  • Yeah agree, wouldn’t hold it against them if people decided to move away from here or people decided against moving here, especially immigrants that may be feeling scared We’ve always had problems here and I’d like to think that most of us are decent people but we definitely do have large population of cunts here as well by GregMarshall94 (Mon 15th Jun 2020 5:14pm)
  • I was there, all the police could really do is grab people and have a word, sometimes just removing them from the square. I went there to peacefully protest and got removed with a few others once it all kicked off and people were screaming abuse at us and trying to fight by GregMarshall94 (Mon 15th Jun 2020 5:17pm)
  • [probably this one ](https://static-3.bitchute.com/live/channel_images/vztVBAlS9Iar/7qLSCw8fTUUTRfeGGnX8uG0R_large.jpg) by GregMarshall94 (Mon 15th Jun 2020 5:23pm)
  • Yeah, found it on a news article by GregMarshall94 (Tue 23rd Jun 2020 6:28am)
  • Oh, not really something I’d personally get excited about but to each their own I guess by GregMarshall94 (Wed 24th Jun 2020 2:47pm)
  • Feels like a Saturday tbh by GregMarshall94 (Thu 25th Jun 2020 6:54pm)
  • I’ve used student printing a lot based in Ingram Street, not sure if they’re still open but could try reaching out to them and pick up your product on Monday or see if they’re doing delivery [Student Printing ](https://www.studentprinting.co.uk) by GregMarshall94 (Sat 27th Jun 2020 11:50am)
  • Yeah, I’ve been wearing it all day because it’s so crowded by GregMarshall94 (Tue 30th Jun 2020 4:22pm)
  • I think the Scottish Government definitely needs to step up and address this issue or companies should take it into their own hands, look at what scotrail is doing. My fear is that we’ll end up with a 2nd wave and go back into lockdown this year which I imagine nobody wants. I don’t think I’ll feel completely safe until we’re like New Zealand that’s back to normal after cases dropped to 0 by GregMarshall94 (Tue 30th Jun 2020 5:14pm)
  • Scotrail is handing them out for free at stations by GregMarshall94 (Tue 30th Jun 2020 5:15pm)
  • Trust me, nobody cares if you wear one, just shows that you’re being sensible, I’ve worn one many times in the last 3 months definitely in the minority but it’s good to try and stay safe by GregMarshall94 (Tue 30th Jun 2020 5:39pm)
  • Agreed, I was hopeful of getting back into education fully by September but looks like I’m going to have to wait a year and have no idea if I’m going to do for work with things the way they are. Fingers crossed something changes and we can start getting back to normal before the end of the year hopefully by GregMarshall94 (Tue 30th Jun 2020 5:54pm)
  • In a hospital wow, that’s not giving me a lot of faith that we’ll back to normal anytime soon by GregMarshall94 (Tue 30th Jun 2020 5:56pm)
  • I usually take mine off when I’m outside as well unless there’s big crowds then I put it on, makes me feel a bit more safe by GregMarshall94 (Tue 30th Jun 2020 6:29pm)
  • Thanks bro by GregMarshall94 (Tue 30th Jun 2020 6:27pm)
  • Yep, 3 new deaths and 10 new cases today, could rise within the next couple of weeks if we’re not careful by GregMarshall94 (Tue 30th Jun 2020 9:53pm)
  • That’s awful, I feel like employees are getting screwed over definitely without guaranteed safety as places reopen by GregMarshall94 (Wed 1st Jul 2020 9:13am)
  • I prefer the blue disposable ones, easy to wear, very comfortable. I found the reusable ones uncomfortable so I always stick with disposable ones by GregMarshall94 (Wed 1st Jul 2020 9:11am)
  • I deleted Facebook ages ago, it’s a shithole and distanced myself from some family members who post racist right wing shit on there. A friend I had a college in the last week or so is posting a bunch of Qanon shit everyday on Instagram, it’s like a disease that’s spreading by GregMarshall94 (Wed 1st Jul 2020 10:06am)
  • There goes any chance of me ever living there lol by GregMarshall94 (Sun 5th Jul 2020 12:57pm)
  • Probably still too expensive for me, quarter maybe by GregMarshall94 (Sun 5th Jul 2020 9:56pm)
  • Young adults as well, I’ve noticed that people who I grew up with that were Ned’s that most of them are basically still Ned’s to this day, some of them shifted to the right posting hate speech about Muslims and other bullshit. I’ve had dumb teenagers try to give me abuse a few times as well which doesn’t give me much hope for the next generation but I hope I’m wrong and it’s only a minority by GregMarshall94 (Fri 31st Jul 2020 7:35pm)
  • If you’re under 25, get the scotrail card that’s gets you a third off the price, still about £20 or so during peak time but it’ll save you a bit that I’d recommend. I was the oppostite travelling from Glasgow to Edinburgh last year by GregMarshall94 (Sat 8th Aug 2020 2:33pm)
  • Guess these are the white vans society warned us about by GregMarshall94 (Sat 15th Aug 2020 5:29pm)
  • Go up to Glasgow Green on a Saturday and you’ll see these kind of crazies gathered spouting their bullshit about vaccines, Bill Gates, masks and whatever else by GregMarshall94 (Sat 15th Aug 2020 5:28pm)
  • Sort of yeah, they meet up by Nelsons monument every Saturday and have speakers spouting a bunch of nonsense, I’ve passed by it a few times and one time got into an argument with some smack head there with missing teeth trying to tell me about how vaccines are evil, they’re a weird bunch by GregMarshall94 (Sun 16th Aug 2020 9:10am)
  • Sorry you to work near there, hate that street so much because there’s always filth like this hanging around there which is a shame because a couple of my favourite shops like Tokyo Toys is there, avoiding the west side of Argyle Street as well because of people like this over there also by GregMarshall94 (Thu 20th Aug 2020 9:48pm)
  • Is this what those preachers on Buchanan Street are on about, I never pay much attention to what they’re actually saying lol by GregMarshall94 (Sun 30th Aug 2020 11:05pm)
  • Is there any reason why it’s gotten worse in the last 6 months, is it due to the pandemic, people going insane, jobs being lost unfortunately I’m now starting to feel afraid of Union Street and Argyle Street as there always seems to be these types of people hanging around Maybe we should raise this concern with the council, have no idea if they can or would do anything though, police on the street maybe would make a difference by GregMarshall94 (Wed 2nd Sep 2020 10:24pm)
  • Got to say reading the comments here has renewed my faith in this city more that it’s only a dumb minority that most people are against, today seeing the huge amount of people in that march did almost make me lose hope for a bit there as at times you can feel like you’re in the minority as a liberal living here, felt the same when a huge group took over George Square to protect the statues and chased me away throwing all kinds of insults and threats. Glad that in reality, they’re the real minority, thanks Glasgow by GregMarshall94 (Sun 6th Sep 2020 6:09pm)
  • Yeah I thought about that as well but feels a bit rude to ask for some reason because I know my college is doing all they can but I think I should reach out to them this week to explain my situation, see if the library at least is available by GregMarshall94 (Sun 6th Sep 2020 8:46pm)
  • Thanks, bit far for me but I’ll keep it in mind by GregMarshall94 (Sun 6th Sep 2020 9:23pm)
  • Thanks, never thought about the student union, I’ll look into it by GregMarshall94 (Sun 6th Sep 2020 9:26pm)
  • I have a support advisor for me at college that I’m keeping in touch with, I’ll ask her if there’s anything in place that will help by GregMarshall94 (Sun 6th Sep 2020 9:25pm)
  • One of my lecturer just sent out a message to say we’ll be in class for the start of the course next week which is great news, definitely going to look into facilities like the library at the college especially with how long they’ll be open everyday, cafes and maybe a couple of hotel stays will be in my plans as well as course work does take up a lot of time, thanks, been to ICafe a few times for lunch and seems like a great place to work by GregMarshall94 (Mon 7th Sep 2020 4:49pm)
  • Yeah, completely new to it, so I’m not sure on everything just yet but I’ll look more into it with my support advisor by GregMarshall94 (Mon 7th Sep 2020 4:50pm)
  • thanks man, really appreciate it I’ll DM you when I’ve found out a bit more from the college and my advisor by GregMarshall94 (Mon 7th Sep 2020 5:34pm)
  • Digital Design. I’m mostly familiar with it having studied a similar course at another college and for almost one term at university before dropping out by GregMarshall94 (Tue 8th Sep 2020 7:56pm)
  • Really cool picture, found [another angle ](https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/www.glasgowlive.co.uk/news/glasgow-news/photos-show-changing-face-st-12310548.amp) with the building that’s now a cafe Nero to better match up its exact location by GregMarshall94 (Sun 20th Sep 2020 10:34pm)
  • Bet these are the same people that protest every weekend against vaccines and masks nowadays by GregMarshall94 (Wed 23rd Sep 2020 6:44pm)
  • Personally I now avoid going to the city on the weekends now, the amount of large crowds there with many not wearing masks is just ridiculous, I have no idea if the mask mandate is still in place for indoors since over the last few weeks it seems like people are free to just walk in without them, even see employees not wearing them by GregMarshall94 (Sun 27th Sep 2020 12:53pm)
  • Basically if you act like an idiot, the government will treat you like one, it’s really depressing that as of yesterday there was 714 new cases in Scotland which looks like we’ll be seeing numbers like that for weeks/months to come When is it going to finally click in some peoples heads that this is serious and nothing will change until everyone starts following the rules. Sorry just had to rant by GregMarshall94 (Sun 27th Sep 2020 12:50pm)
  • Yeah, I only take my mask off in the city when I’m outdoors and nobody is close by, don’t think many people are aware that you can catch it outside especially in crowded places. I’ve seen people not wearing them or not covering their nose quite a lot. I honestly have no idea how you can get everyone to follow the rules, something I’d bring back is the limit of people indoors, standing in lines with no entry without a mask, no idea what happened to that rule as it seems like quite a few places no longer do it Fines could work for not wearing a mask, think the government would rather avoid that though by GregMarshall94 (Sun 27th Sep 2020 1:04pm)
  • Yep, true. A lot of teenagers think their immune which is completely untrue, kids can catch it as well and pass it onto older people Read about a 28 year old healthy nurse in Texas recently who died from covid. Stuff like that really puts things into perspective, I’m hoping to be in class in November for my college course but with the way things are going makes me worry it won’t be safe to do so just yet by GregMarshall94 (Sun 27th Sep 2020 1:14pm)
  • Yep, feel frustrated as well Could end up with another lockdown if we don’t all come together and follow the rules What happened to when people were more united during lockdown, clapping for the NHS etc, it’s like when restrictions were lifted people thought it was all over by GregMarshall94 (Sun 27th Sep 2020 5:56pm)
  • The risk of transmission is higher indoors but can still happen outdoors especially if you’re around huge crowds where social distancing isn’t possible and everyone isn’t wearing a mask by GregMarshall94 (Sun 27th Sep 2020 8:52pm)
