  • Lol can’t believe I forgot about this show, Calum with the Blue Parker “G for Gnome” and Stoniebridge by Grey__Walker (Sat 31st Oct 2020 3:20am)
  • There’s a pretty funny TV show from BBC Northern Ireland I binge watched the other week called Pulling Moves the full playlist is on YouTube [Pulling Moves](https://youtu.be/JBzw6FCm_Vo) by Grey__Walker (Sat 31st Oct 2020 3:25am)
  • Defo don’t buy one of the flats there, you’ll struggle to sell it if you decide to move in the future. When I was looking to buy my first flat years ago there was a real nice place in one of the blocks to cheap to be true. I looked the place up on google and found out why. There was a YouTube video with a couple of the people who live there who where in negative equity and couldn’t sell or move out. I remember reading the issue it became so bad was that when they were originally built the majority of the flats where sold to a Glasgow Gangster who filled the flats with Hookers, Swingers Orgies and Drug Dens. I guess the money laundering checks the bank do weren’t as rigorous as they are now. I drive past the place daily to get on the M8 and the Hookers are still standing about. The block closest to the fly over seems the worst of the two. by Grey__Walker (Sun 27th Dec 2020 7:02am)
  • I got stopped by the cops in Central Station on Christmas Eve. Thought they were going to ask where I was from/going due to COVID. They were more interested in my phone. I was on FaceTime with the gf and they asked what I was filming, quoted the anti terrorism act and said no filming allowed unless I had permission and had attended some kinda lecture given by the staff who work there. by Grey__Walker (Thu 31st Dec 2020 6:14am)
  • I live streamed one of their protest marches back in September it’s on my YouTube Channel if anyone fancies a watch https://youtu.be/IuMWBDaXK-M They are a mix of different little groups combined into one. I’ll say this, there is no debating them, they take any difference of opinion personally and get pretty angry about it if you take an opposing view. I remember the guy on the right of image 33 quite well. He looked really ill. I’m not surprised Alex Cairnie has pitched up there. by Grey__Walker (Fri 15th Jan 2021 4:14pm)
  • Shelter for doggers maybe? by Grey__Walker (Fri 15th Jan 2021 4:26pm)
  • I had a look on flightradar24 not showing any helicopters around Glasgow, only one is up over Loch Tay. Maybe they have landed. by Grey__Walker (Fri 22nd Jan 2021 4:30pm)
  • I do a lot of IRL streaming using network bonding tech and have done a few streams in the city centre and the mobile signals are always gash. I think it’s because of the tall buildings. As soon as I’m away from the buildings the signal is great, like I was able to stream at Glasgow Green at 1080p 60fps with an upload speed of 58mb but at like George Square I’m lucky to get 2mb by Grey__Walker (Wed 17th Feb 2021 11:57am)
  • Before the pandemic I tried to get a Black Hack home from the rank outside Central Station. Got in the cab and asked to go to Uddingston, the driver wanted £75 upfront wtf. Instead I stayed in the Preimer Inn for £40 and got the train in the morning. I’ve no sympathy for the Black Hack drivers. by Grey__Walker (Thu 10th Jun 2021 12:53pm)
  • Things haven’t change that much in Glasgow this was yesterday, kids running about Argyle Street with machetes and knifes. [Glasgow Live](https://www.glasgowlive.co.uk/news/glasgow-news/horrific-moment-glasgow-gang-armed-20958901) by Grey__Walker (Fri 2nd Jul 2021 7:44pm)
  • I live streamed there today, I find them all really interesting but you can’t really have a conversation with them as they don’t really take any opposing view very well. It’s pretty much a collection of different smaller groups that have found some kind of solidarity together at George Square, I think the best way to describe it would be Speakers Corner without the religious nuts, although there is a small “Jesus Saves” group that seems to try and save drug addicts. There is a “Save the Children Group” for people who the state have taken their kids from them, you have the Anti 5G/Mask Group, A Group that has been wronged by the cops, Rhys Bonners mum is there frequently. Oh and Alex Cairnie was there today on a purple bike he gave me a death stare, I’m assuming because I had on a mask. by Grey__Walker (Sat 3rd Jul 2021 6:37pm)
  • Man POF is the online version of standing in a bar where there is only one girl and five hundred guys all trying to talk to her at the same time, who are taller and better looking than me because I’ve had to many Pringles and I’m stood there shouting “Witness Me!” by Grey__Walker (Wed 7th Jul 2021 2:05am)
  • I’m sure there is memorial to the folk that died at the Necropolis by Grey__Walker (Wed 7th Jul 2021 2:11am)
  • Remember to take into account the buy/sell fees. Also the apps most folk use to buy and sell like the ones you mentioned are often in cahoots with hedge funds, just look at what happened with GME and Robinhood. by Grey__Walker (Sun 3rd Oct 2021 11:17am)
  • I don’t think the cops care, they don’t really seem bothered about people openly in plain view selling heroin and street vals around central station. by Grey__Walker (Thu 28th Oct 2021 1:26am)
  • I think 35k is about right just because that’s what I’m on just now with 5 years experience, but then again I’m a terrible programmer. by Grey__Walker (Tue 9th Nov 2021 3:42pm)
  • I can remember an old documentary on YouTube that was filmed in the East End about the pigeon racers in Glasgow can only find this clip of it now can’t find the full show. https://youtu.be/57Z0fp8qK8s by Grey__Walker (Mon 22nd Nov 2021 12:09pm)
  • Can’t see it getting better anytime soon and it seems to be dependent on the Doctor you have, some see you face to face some don’t, my fathers neighbour can get to see a doctor no problems while my father can’t. My own experience with this well my father’s really. Last week my father collapsed unconscious while in ASDA, the ambulance was there pretty sharpish not hours and hours waiting, it was problems with his heart. Previous to this for two weeks he had been trying to get to see a Doctor face but could only get a telephone call. So when he arrived at the A and E it was the A and E that had to do all the tests that the Doctor should have been organising/doing. No wonder the Hospitals are stressed. by Grey__Walker (Tue 23rd Nov 2021 5:04pm)
  • Does it need to be in the city centre? You could try the surrounding towns and commute into the city centre. They are connected pretty well by train. There’s been a lot of posts in the sub with folk finding it difficult to get a place due to demand. by Grey__Walker (Tue 23rd Nov 2021 5:18pm)

  • I went through the exact same thing, for me it was Action Man from the 80s. I saw a guy at the Blochairn one buy a Tie Fighter for a £3 there was a wee boy who asked his dad for it but this guy got in first, later after walking round a bit I saw the same guy had his own pitch with hundreds of vintage toys, asked him how much for the Tie Fighter he wanted £50. Pure scum bag should have just let the wee boy have it. by Grey__Walker (Sat 8th Jan 2022 3:08pm)
  • Two bedroom flat no gas, electricity only. April to November it’s like £40 - £50 a month. As soon as the cold weather starts and I turn on the storage heaters…….bang £150 - 160 a month. by Grey__Walker (Fri 21st Jan 2022 5:58pm)

  • Not sure if it’s open after all the lockdown’s, there was a place up at the Barra’s called Arti San Toi 100% not snobby. They have a YouTube channel https://www.YouTube.com/watch?v=dKfD6v-8GPE by Grey__Walker (Wed 27th Apr 2022 4:37pm)
  • That’s a pretty good salary, can you get me a job 😀 by Grey__Walker (Thu 19th May 2022 10:30am)
  • I’d say not safe. If your travelling from Carmunnock towards the Braes there is a junction that leads off to the right towards the power station at EK, don’t walk along that road! I was cycling along that road and a guy nearly hit me with his car, he had his head turned and was looking out his back window just as he turned back to look forward on the road and saw me he was laughing, I was fucking raging but then I saw what he was looking and laughing at. There were four cars parked in the two wee laybys at the top of the hill, no one in them but there were dudes all standing in the field watching this one dude who had his trousers round his knees and was holding his T-shirt up with one hand and cracking one off with the other. When I got to the bottom of the will there were two council workers (both woman) walking up the hill with one of those wee trundle wheels to measure distance towards the dudes and there was also a guy that was one of those dog walking businesses. I thought I better tell the council workers not to walk up the hill, there wasn’t really any way to politely explain what was going one so I just told them there was a bunch of sex pests in the field at the top. The guy with the dogs heard me tell them and said they are there all the time and he’s called 101 a few times. Just as he’s saying that one of the cars drives down the hill to the junction we’re all stood at and it has to stop right in front of us before it can pull out and the dog walker guy shouts LOOK HES DRESSED AS A WOMAN. The dude in car had a blonde wig and real bad make up on. I be not laughed so much in all my life. This was at about half two on a Wednesday afternoon btw. by Grey__Walker (Sat 21st May 2022 6:03pm)
  • Sorry this happened to you. I film a lot in town and other cities, mostly me live streaming talking shite to people i don’t know on the internet. So like if I walking and see the cops lifting someone I’ll film it as viewers find it entertaining. The cops hate being filmed but in Glasgow they hate it more than any other city. I think the reason is that there is a genre of blogging called auditing where people actively seek to film interactions the cops to see what they do, you know like film cops driving out of police stations and then arguing with them when the cops ask what they are up to. The best thing to do is just not film them or they will potentially just fuck you about, sure they can take your phone in a minute but your the one that has the hassle spending ages trying to get it back. The biggest irritating thing about it is how the abuse of power using the terroisim act or missuse of drugs act to say “I suspect you are blah blah blah” now I’m searching you. by Grey__Walker (Tue 24th May 2022 11:43am)
  • I saw three kids that were blasting Despacito out an amp outside Debenhams playing Keyboard, violin and organ combo. Exact sane version as the solo violinist belts out. Their da was sitting on the bench opposite them making sure they didn’t do a runner. This was at 9am, walked back to the train station at 4pm and they were still at it. by Grey__Walker (Sun 5th Jun 2022 2:43pm)
  • I went a couple of years ago, hired a motorboat. I didn’t manage to get any photos of them though. Only saw glimpses of them running away. They move so fast and are really well camouflaged among the trees. I really don’t get why Kristy young wants ride of them, if I had my own island it would pretty cool to have wallaby’s on it. by Grey__Walker (Wed 29th Jun 2022 10:24am)
  • Guy with the white trainers and black jacket is waiting for folk to walk by then runs up behind them and snatches stuff off them. Then runs back round through the alley and back to his pals. saw him rob two folk the guy in the white hat being one. I did say to two cops but they “were dealing with something else” by Grey__Walker (Sun 17th Jul 2022 4:21am)
  • Nah didn’t call, spoke to two policemen just up from Nando’s but the were dealing with what looked like an stolen car left at the top of Sauchiehall Street. Said they would look later they were dealing with something else by Grey__Walker (Sun 17th Jul 2022 11:06am)
  • No, I tried to chase him through the alley but couldn’t keep up with him. by Grey__Walker (Sun 17th Jul 2022 11:31am)
