  • I've never seen it in my local park.... I've not been looking.... Honest. by HearingSword (Tue 18th Jun 2019 3:46pm)
  • I'm not sure if others have said this. But look at dennistoun in the east end. Off the main roads it is very quiet and there is excellent bars and restaurants nearby and great local links into town (numerous buses and a train line). Rent is a bit cheaper than some other areas (westend) as well. by HearingSword (Tue 16th Jul 2019 8:05am)
  • Got some twat sat across from me watching a video full blast. The joys of a Monday. by HearingSword (Mon 23rd Sep 2019 7:36am)
  • Ya what?! I'd have called him out. Or rang the police.... by HearingSword (Mon 23rd Sep 2019 10:53am)
  • "hi there is a guy distributing porn to potentially Minors on my bus." it's technically not a lie.... by HearingSword (Mon 23rd Sep 2019 4:40pm)

  • Is this not theft? by HearingSword (Tue 11th Aug 2020 3:46pm)
  • Every part of this. If housing associations can do bulk uplift why not GCC? I've had a sofa picked up, but my friend hasn't all because of where we live. Also food bins?! Ours hasn't been emptied since October 2019....luckily in a secure storage and not open to all the rodents. by HearingSword (Mon 31st Aug 2020 7:19am)
  • I seriously wondered why no screens in taxis here. Went to Berwick and every single taxi had them. You were only allowed in front if masked and no space in back. Worked perfectly fine. No issues. Why can't we.... by HearingSword (Mon 31st Aug 2020 7:21am)
  • Right well that was a complete waste a few years ago when they issued them all with food bins internal and external.... by HearingSword (Mon 31st Aug 2020 9:17am)
  • Congratulations, you can read a story and pick out some points from it. A*! by HearingSword (Thu 22nd Oct 2020 3:46pm)
  • Food bin - last collected Sept 2019, only take. Away last week but left those in the other flats... Makes sense... Issues with bins overloaded because you only give 3 bins for 6 flats. O I know, we will decrease bin pick ups (also, how the fuck you now meant to know which day if you don't live in a flat?) Complain about recycling but never collect it. Remove 80% of bins in a local area then "forget" to regularly empty most of the ones left. I'm sure there are more points as well but that's the few I've had. by HearingSword (Tue 16th Feb 2021 7:16am)
  • So does Fife. Source: Ma belly is still pudgy from high school (am a fat cunt). by HearingSword (Wed 26th May 2021 1:07pm)
  • TBH, I've given up complaining to GCC they are useless. They dont really give a damn, they dont actually listen to the people of Glasgow. Bins, roads, parks, rubbish, bins again and so many other issues, they dont care. by HearingSword (Thu 3rd Jun 2021 7:25am)
  • There are many local interests groups on fb. I'm on a few and have made friends through them. by HearingSword (Fri 18th Jun 2021 1:36pm)
  • Don't suppose you live in the east end? We often have the issue of our food being delivered elsewhere as the drivers can't read delivery instructions. by HearingSword (Sun 17th Oct 2021 11:13am)
  • I only order from the Trongate one. My nearest is forge but they are all cyclists and I like my food to be at least luke warm. by HearingSword (Sun 17th Oct 2021 11:12am)
  • You get the receipt?! Our drivers always nick them lol by HearingSword (Sun 17th Oct 2021 11:17am)
  • See this I find weird as the council regularly come checking for bulk uplift and the housing do here (Dennistoun). I've never had to book as I knew Monday there be a van coming anyways (even if it was just me getting an uplift) by HearingSword (Sun 17th Oct 2021 2:49pm)
  • Honestly? No idea. by HearingSword (Sun 17th Oct 2021 4:23pm)
  • On 6th November there is meant to be a 100,000 strong protest. Plus 25,000 attendees. Plus several thousand third party event attendees I bet. I'm getting out of the city, might get someone someone pay me 5K for them to watch my cats for the night. by HearingSword (Wed 20th Oct 2021 12:53pm)
  • From hydro to far end of dennistoun by HearingSword (Thu 28th Oct 2021 1:59pm)
  • Can I put a big big big caveat on this..BEWARE OF SCAMS. Poster, you were lucky extremely. But there are scams out there with fake landlords. I believe there is a landlord register in Scotland that your landlord should be on. by HearingSword (Sun 31st Oct 2021 1:03am)
  • Hi, I would recommend either not telling them or finding a private landlord yourselves. I did this via gumtree 8 years ago as I had a cat. I now have 2 cats, a dog and a Brian and still with the same landlord cos of this. by HearingSword (Sun 31st Oct 2021 1:01am)
  • Lol Brian is the other half. I had such difficulty finding a landlord that would allow me to have a partner. Spent many years wondering if I'd a ever find a landlord that would enable it (at the time owning was not even a consideration). Luckily I found this flat, my cats my dog and my Brian lol. by HearingSword (Sun 31st Oct 2021 7:51am)
  • No but if you zoom past me and almost hit my dog on the pavement I'm throwing his bagof shit at your head :). But in all seriousness, if you get one please please get a bell or horn or something. Pedestrians need to know know you coming by. by HearingSword (Thu 11th Nov 2021 3:54pm)
  • How is offering triple pay and taking volunteers only a bad precedent? by HearingSword (Thu 9th Dec 2021 1:17pm)
  • If you are near the M8 they are doing works on it at night just now. You could view hearing noises from there? by HearingSword (Tue 8th Feb 2022 11:11am)

  • They are on other apps and the same issue occurs (I know from experience) Also, just saw that in a few months they will be on deliveroo (just a fyi :) ) by HearingSword (Thu 2nd Jun 2022 8:36pm)
  • 61% return sounds like something that is extremely high risk and can often fail (look up German Property Group as an example). Id also recommend using an IFA as you are protected if you receive unsuitable advice a lot of the time (via FOS, fscs or maybe the firms Personal Indemnity insurer) and may receive money back for unsuitable advice. by HearingSword (Wed 27th Jul 2022 9:39am)
  • Post on legal advice UK. You will get much better answers that in here. Thing linking is r/legaladviceUK but not 100%. by HearingSword (Mon 12th Sep 2022 6:31pm)

  • You will love it! I started last year and I am in love and about to start DMing as well. My group is friends so we are a closed group but I do hope you find a group, and if you don’t mesh with group 1, 2 & 3 keep looking and be clear what you want and what you want to avoid. by HearingSword (Thu 6th Oct 2022 1:16pm)

  • Depending where in Glasgow, squirrels, seagulls and even rats have been know to raid the bins and I’ve often seen a seagull fly off with a bag to only drop it. But I’ve also stood on shit left in the middle of the street. by HearingSword (Thu 5th Jan 2023 9:21am)
  • There is a place above the post office in city centre. You can either pay to have it valued or donate it, and they give the money to charity. (I’ve not been since pre Covid though, so things may have changed). by HearingSword (Sat 28th Jan 2023 12:52pm)
  • Zen if cash otherwise China Chef. by HearingSword (Sat 18th Feb 2023 7:23pm)
  • This morning we had one of those sweeper vehicles in our area. East end, haven’t seen one for years. Because of the lack of maintenance of drains and potholes all it succeeded in doing was kicking up all the mud and leaves etc from them and spreading them all over the street. What was the point? by HearingSword (Wed 22nd Feb 2023 2:17pm)
  • I assume in this instance it be the masseuse that would get the happy ending. by HearingSword (Fri 3rd Mar 2023 4:11pm)
