  • It’s all very strange - one of the residents told me how they set up in the alleyway for a cocktail trial night kind of thing - the council came and shut them down due to them blocking fire escapes. I remember seeing something ages ago commented under a post from someone claiming they hadn’t paid the builders which was swiftly deleted. πŸ‘€ by Hmmmmmmmb (Thu 9th Jun 2022 8:52am)
  • How so? I know nothing about marketing genuinely curious! by Hmmmmmmmb (Thu 9th Jun 2022 9:21pm)
  • Update for anyone that is interested - yeh they released a statement last night saying that they couldn’t get it off the ground, go to the Instagram or Facebook page to see. πŸ‘€ by Hmmmmmmmb (Tue 21st Jun 2022 9:42am)
  • If your into games there is a place in Merchant City (I think it’s there?) it’s called R-Cade when I first moved here I popped by for a look with a friend. The staff are so chilled and want everyone to have a great time! They basically have e v e r y kind of game you could think of from roughly the 70s? Through to today’s games, they also have over 18 nights. Making friends can be challenging but looks like so many people here have given great advice ☺️ by Hmmmmmmmb (Thu 23rd Jun 2022 10:57pm)

  • If you do end up writing to your MSP, tell them how the hotel are not allowing anyone to socialise. By refusing to let you socialise they are breaking one of the Human Rights act; “the right against social deprivation” along with breaking article 25 “The right to an adequate standard of living” by Hmmmmmmmb (Tue 5th Jul 2022 8:32pm)
  • I live just over the bridge by the high rises, apart from around about 1am someone shouting how someone spilt vodka on their shoes- absolutely no problem or anti social behaviour. Partner and I had the windows open with a can enjoying the music seemed like a great atmosphere 😎 your absolutely right though; everyone is young once! I remember how hoards of kids at my school used to go to T in the Park - no different ❀️ by Hmmmmmmmb (Sat 9th Jul 2022 12:17pm)
  • We have been to the police station and said they would phone if it turns up thanks so much though πŸ₯° by Hmmmmmmmb (Sun 17th Jul 2022 9:47pm)
  • Totally agree, the amount of times I have “locked” the door on the train only for my shock horror when it starts opening whilst still using facilities - I honestly just don’t bother with them now. by Hmmmmmmmb (Sun 24th Jul 2022 10:35am)
  • Yeh I’m Scottish, that was my bad I used to work for the student loan company so all I have been working with for the last few months has been solely PGCE or English courses! πŸ˜„ by Hmmmmmmmb (Wed 27th Jul 2022 8:43pm)

  • This is a first with 4am parties, they have always been naturally loud banging about thuds all through the night however although slightly irritating at all hours it was never anything that was like last night. Definitely taking on board what folk have said - I didn’t even think of it being afters! by Hmmmmmmmb (Wed 10th Aug 2022 7:51am)
  • Actually I start at 7am, my partner is 6am and our flat mate is 0730 who drives across the country, not going to lie struggling to keep my eyes open in the office and got a hospital appt in the afternoon - I’m going to bed as soon as I walk back into the flat πŸ™ˆ by Hmmmmmmmb (Wed 10th Aug 2022 8:20am)
  • Naw, I had gone to the door first to ask them to keep it down. They shouted through the door “I promise we are nice neighbours” in what they thought was the funniest thing ever. They started playing the music louder, then some karaoke, a melody of “here we, here we, here we fucking go” with Ariana Grande on repeat from 4am-6.30am by Hmmmmmmmb (Wed 10th Aug 2022 10:04am)
  • In all honesty I think I was just pissed off when I got to the door to ask them to keep it down abs they were behind the door laughing then shouting “I promise we are nice neighbours” that was just angering tbh by Hmmmmmmmb (Wed 10th Aug 2022 10:11am)
