  • Gumtree should be fine. Need to give it a few days/ weeks. Won’t sell overnight. by Jimmybacon37 (Sun 3rd Jul 2022 4:50pm)
  • Very true for me as well. Got two wee ones who I need to help get up and out in the morning. Leaving an extra 45 mins early to get a train isn’t viable. Park and ride though is another option but it ain’t that cheap anymore by Jimmybacon37 (Fri 2nd Sep 2022 10:44pm)
  • Thank you. This looks like the best option so far I’ll give it a go Monday. Providing I get anywhere near that side of the town with the roadworks going to be starting on the bridge by Jimmybacon37 (Fri 2nd Sep 2022 10:40pm)
  • It’s gone now. Dug it up and found an old band stand by Jimmybacon37 (Thu 8th Sep 2022 11:42am)
  • We recently used McKirdy estates agent. She was amazing and the pictures and sale of our house was super easy and done really quickly. by Jimmybacon37 (Sat 24th Sep 2022 10:52am)
  • I’ve been bringing my kids up teaching them to thank people when they do something for them. Even down to the simplest of things. Really basic manners and should be something that everyone does, not even just thank the bus driver but thank people in general for services by Jimmybacon37 (Wed 26th Oct 2022 9:42am)
  • Trust me there are a lot of people out there. My kids are nursery age and have been taught from day one. So many kids at nurseries just snatch and grab and have no manners by Jimmybacon37 (Wed 26th Oct 2022 11:57am)
  • What powerleague? by Jimmybacon37 (Wed 16th Nov 2022 2:47pm)
  • Such a terrible bit of road this time of year. No idea why they can’t just clear the drains and let the water disperse by Jimmybacon37 (Fri 30th Dec 2022 1:32pm)
  • Drove by last night to see and they’ve now closed the road by Jimmybacon37 (Sat 31st Dec 2022 10:59am)
  • Get the kids to bed. Then likely fall asleep on the couch before midnight and get the wife to wake me 5 mins before the bells. Typical boring Da things haha by Jimmybacon37 (Sat 31st Dec 2022 6:55pm)
  • Bearsden has an indoor range. 25m does everything from air rifles to bigger calibre stuff but mostly .22. Been a member for well over a decade now and it’s a nice place by Jimmybacon37 (Mon 23rd Jan 2023 10:45pm)
  • Don’t forget a healthy dose of the shits by Jimmybacon37 (Sat 4th Feb 2023 12:13am)
  • I had this same problem. Total pain the hole as I was right in the middle of work call on one of the occasions! by Jimmybacon37 (Fri 10th Feb 2023 10:49pm)
  • Guy on the right has 100% got that jacket cut long to hide his tiny baby hands. Tie helps draw attention away as well by Jimmybacon37 (Thu 16th Feb 2023 4:22pm)
  • There is pub near mine that has a barbers connected to it. Pretty sure the barber lets you take your pint in when you get a haircut by Jimmybacon37 (Tue 28th Feb 2023 10:55am)
  • We used an independent called McKirdy estate agents. Really good, she said herself he sales tactics were full on and she’d get the house sold quickly and she did. Only downside was we had to do all the viewings and show people around. Fees wise it was 2k plus 10% of anything over home report value, but that might have changed with the way the market is now. Ended up working out £150 odd cheaper for us to use them compare to bigger ones by Jimmybacon37 (Tue 28th Feb 2023 12:26pm)
  • Total cliffhanger here. What’s rumours to be under it?! by Jimmybacon37 (Sat 4th Mar 2023 7:14pm)
  • I don’t know why but I always thought it would be really dingy looking and full of thick cobwebs covered in dirt and dust. by Jimmybacon37 (Sun 5th Mar 2023 8:43pm)
  • I got mine for my now wife from a place in pollockshaws. They do bespoke as well as off the shelf stuff. Darren designed, 3D modelled and made the ring in store and the results were phenomenal. Even arranged an appointment with me to go in and do a final sign off on the design as well as let me pick the diamond I wanted so it was 100% exactly as I wanted it to be. Can’t recommend them enough. https://www.bejouled.co.uk by Jimmybacon37 (Mon 6th Mar 2023 4:40pm)

  • This 100 times over. Get an apprenticeship. Joiner. Electrician. Plumber. Decorator. My gran always says you never see a poor tradesman who’s good at what he does by Jimmybacon37 (Thu 9th Mar 2023 9:05pm)
  • Glasgow city must be really hard up for cash if they are letting folk advertise on the back of parking fines Never mind just got the joke… I’ll blame the pints by Jimmybacon37 (Sat 11th Mar 2023 6:55pm)
  • I’d second this. Used to take my early 2000’s A6 here when I had it and they were always bang on. by Jimmybacon37 (Tue 4th Apr 2023 10:09am)
  • My favourite it toley. As in shite by Jimmybacon37 (Mon 17th Apr 2023 11:35am)
  • If it’s any help. I had my rear screen replaced through my insurance a few years ago and it only cost me £75 which was my windscreen excess on my policy. Really easy and sent me to a local garage rather than bringing auto glass out by Jimmybacon37 (Wed 19th Apr 2023 10:07pm)
  • I’m trying to get into being a lorry driver at the moment. In the process of doing the theory side of things. Got any advice on where is good to do the practical training side of things? by Jimmybacon37 (Sun 14th May 2023 11:10am)
  • Last takeaway we had delivered off just eat the driver told me stop using just eat and use the takeaway website as it was usually quicker to be delivered and worked out cheaper for the same thing by Jimmybacon37 (Sun 14th May 2023 10:43pm)

  • Thank you. Spoke with GTG and they didn’t have any dates for nearly two months which I didn’t want to wait. I’ll give Richie’s a call tomorrow and see by Jimmybacon37 (Wed 30th Aug 2023 5:06pm)

  • Barrhead. In the new industrial estate by Jimmybacon37 (Sun 24th Sep 2023 4:48pm)
  • I agree with everyone else saying ignore it. I got one a few years back for parking in Tesco for 4 hours while I was out for dinner and then to the cinema. My wife told me to ignore as it cost the company more money to pass on to the debt collectors to get them pursue you than they would make from the fine if you ignored it and it went to £60. However if you ignore 100’s of them then that would be a different story and they could take you to small claims court but that won’t happen over one fine. by Jimmybacon37 (Wed 15th Nov 2023 2:04pm)
