  • Ark has two exotic specialists I believe - http://arkvetclinics.com/ by JusticeBeaver464 (Mon 6th Apr 2020 11:18pm)
  • Po Boys in Partick does a decent fried catfish, which I realise isn’t your question but I would love to know if you find some. It’s my favourite fish by far. by JusticeBeaver464 (Sun 10th May 2020 10:30pm)
  • And in some cases it’s actually 70 days notice if the home office wants to investigate which they made do depending on the visa she’s on and how good your luck is :/ by JusticeBeaver464 (Fri 31st Jul 2020 5:59pm)
  • Kay’s in Anniesland is great. I never feel ripped off there, and they’re really nice as well by JusticeBeaver464 (Mon 3rd Aug 2020 9:56am)
  • If you want to make one yourself you can use butternut squash instead of pumpkin! Sounds weird but I promise it tastes exactly the same - just roast the squash until soft and then use it like you would canned pumpkin. by JusticeBeaver464 (Wed 14th Oct 2020 12:11am)
  • Please avoid flat faced breeds like pugs and frenchies! They have been bred to have such insane conformations that the majority of them struggle to breathe on a daily basis let alone while trying to exercise or sleep. Make sure you visit the breeder and see the pups with their mum - if the breeder has an excuse about why she’s not there, don’t accept it. Go to a different breeder. by JusticeBeaver464 (Tue 16th Mar 2021 7:48am)
  • Good resource here for using when looking for a puppy - https://puppycontract.org.uk/ by JusticeBeaver464 (Tue 16th Mar 2021 7:51am)
  • Yeah I’m not going to fight about this one - the vast majority of brachycephalic dogs and cats are poorly bred, people have just been conditioned to view their problems as cute so don’t accept them as health problems. by JusticeBeaver464 (Tue 16th Mar 2021 10:05am)
  • From what I know he had one lined up with RBS who cared much more about the payslips than proof he had the deposit, but I'll suggest the parents thing, cheers. He's not got reddit so I just offered to ask on here in case anyone had experience with lenders who are happy with 3 months. by JusticeBeaver464 (Sat 27th Mar 2021 9:37am)
  • Thanks, everyone! I’ve passed the comments along to my friend and he really appreciates the advice as he was quite down after his most recent chat with RBS. Sounds like he is going to check out some brokers so thanks so much for the tips! by JusticeBeaver464 (Sat 27th Mar 2021 10:16pm)
  • Please don’t adopt a European street dog! Some people do get lucky and have good experiences but overall it’s a pretty terrible industry, bringing in stressed dogs that struggle to adjust to life inside a British home and can bring in new diseases that can be expensive and difficult to treat. I know it can seem hard to adopt a dog but are lots of smaller UK based charities that do this, please look at those first. by JusticeBeaver464 (Mon 1st May 2023 9:56am)
  • Mugdock Park maybe? If you go off the beaten path. You can take the train to Milngavie and walk to it, it’s the start of the West Highland Way by JusticeBeaver464 (Sat 13th May 2023 3:12pm)
