  • History lesson. The English made Ireland. I'm American but my husband is irish and I've an Irish passport and he's a masters in history. Con colbert, limerick train station has his family name and con was best friends with pearse. Anyway. The English yeah those lads were Norman's until about 1500. Ever wonder why Cork lads speak so different. They spoke old French in that city until the 1600s. They're very different that way. More Scotland. Its name itself comes from who... the scotti tribe. Guess where they came from . Northern Ireland. Pre viking era. Guess what they did. They invaded and I kid you not they INVADED north Scotland and it became an empire called the dal rialta. Ireland invaded the UK as it is known before England was even a thing not that I give a fuck just don't be so anti England anti this and that. Ireland was made by England who were made by the Norman men who were pretty much made by Denmark and Sweden. You can go back even further. by LisaAshlie (Mon 13th Sep 2021 7:47pm)
