Interests:

  • You may be a bit limited with you time if you want to go up north. Probably the cheapest way to get to Inverness is by coach. However if you do come up for a day I totally recommend going straight to the loch and skipping most of the city. Inverness city centre isn’t particularly big and really the only reason to go there is that it feels more “authentically” Scottish and less touristy than Edinburgh. However, if you had to pick between the two (although as a Glaswegian I hate to say this) Edinburgh is far prettier, has far better places to eat, and is way cheaper to travel to from Glasgow. If you really want to see the loch then you may be able to find a direct bus to “Fort Agustus” but there’s a good chance they’d be expensive tourist busses. by Longzx (Sun 8th Sep 2019 11:31pm)
