I moved from another country completely on my own, I was a total hot mess trying to figure out my new world. People I’d meet in restaurants or at my temporary hotel I was staying at, you would have thought they were family. Random people I’d speak to would throw themselves at me offering help. Giving me furniture, helping direct me around, offering me me to join them in meals etc. everyone I met was so helpful, and it was just natural for them. This is such a good question. I will be honest though, I like everyone on this sub, hate the litter issue. It’s rank in so many parts of Glasgow. Although I have no idea what will help at this point. There seems to be such a high amount of Glaswegians that toss their litter onto the streets without second thought. There is a overwhelming amount of them, hence the litter issue Glasgow has. I feel this. I had a melt down over it a few weeks ago. Someone told me to do little things and think of little things that are fun about the season. I got a box of chai tea, have made two new soups and joined the gym again for something to do in the evenings. I also upped my vitamin D, and on days like today I try to get out as much as I can for the sun even if it is cold. These things might have helped a wee bit, but it’s hard.
