  • Same!! I must only be round the corner from you, we could see them from our window. Defos weird, seemed too low to be a professional thing and if it was for the new Indiana Jones movie wouldn’t more people know about it? by Nice2BeNice1312 (Sat 17th Jul 2021 1:22am)

  • My brother sat beside him that plays gabriel in river city on the bus once, said he was “greyer” in person. Idk what that means and tbh it’s been too long and I’m scared to ask 😂 by Nice2BeNice1312 (Wed 8th Sep 2021 4:57pm)
  • Och i though Susan calman would be lovely, she strikes me as the type to be dead down to earth. That’s put a dampener on things lol. Cant say I’m surprised about Janey Godley though, she’s class by Nice2BeNice1312 (Wed 8th Sep 2021 4:55pm)

  • Honestly for such a wee hole in the wall shop its second to none, i miss walking in and having my stomach growl cos it knew the deliciousness i was about to feed it. Think thats the thing i miss the most about that relationship 🤣 by Nice2BeNice1312 (Fri 21st Jan 2022 2:44pm)

  • You okay? by Nice2BeNice1312 (Wed 2nd Feb 2022 10:11pm)
  • Had a taxi driver yesterday morning who called me a “fucking waste of time” because he had to wait 4 minutes. Note that my booking was for 07.10am, I called to let him know I would be a couple of minutes and the bastard hung up on me. Told me when I got in the car that he “had had this booking for 15 minutes and was ready to drive away” but because it was a pre-booking it wouldnt let him cancel it. Like sorry dude, I did call and tell you and its hardly my fault that you cant cancel the booking. Had the same driver before who swore and cursed at me because I didn’t have cash and he doesnt like to take card. Some absolute roasters out there, thankfully a lot of the drivers are alright, it’s just actually getting a taxi most of the time. by Nice2BeNice1312 (Tue 8th Mar 2022 1:04pm)
  • I love drumpellier. My papa used to take us all the time, it’s always gonna have a special spot in my heart. by Nice2BeNice1312 (Sat 19th Mar 2022 2:14pm)
  • I would take one if i had the space but ive already got 4 of my own. Gumtree maybe? Just check their house before you give them away and make sure they’ll be loved and treated properly? by Nice2BeNice1312 (Thu 14th Apr 2022 12:20pm)
  • Aye and network as well by Nice2BeNice1312 (Thu 14th Apr 2022 4:58pm)
  • Sounds like the one i had, moaned at me for making him wait 4 minutes (i phoned him, told him id be a couple of minutes and he hung up on me) and then complained that he couldnt cancel it cos it was a prebooking. Absolute arseholes some of them are. My old mate’s dad is a taxi driver and hes one of the only good ones out there. Mercedes Citan, his names Jason, hes brill by Nice2BeNice1312 (Thu 14th Apr 2022 5:00pm)
  • Leo!! Hes awesome, super cool. He went through a bad patch a while ago, addiction and mental illness and i think he was homeless(?). He’s completely sober now and he’s an absolute legend. Saw him at a Ben Monteith gif a few years back by Nice2BeNice1312 (Sat 23rd Apr 2022 7:44pm)
  • I was gonna suggest care work as well - ive been a carer for 5 years now and its the best, most rewarding job ive had. You might not be *changing the world* but youre changing some peoples worlds by actually giving a shit about them and making their days better. And it doesnt have to be elderly people either, theres plenty of places that cater to young people with learning difficulties/ABIs etc. by Nice2BeNice1312 (Thu 28th Apr 2022 7:51pm)
  • I flew out to mallorca on Saturday there and there was no queues at all. We flew through the airport (no pun intended) and it was fine. by Nice2BeNice1312 (Wed 4th May 2022 10:33pm)
  • My dad got one for my papa and my granny to place in daldowie, I’ll ask him where he got it. I think it cost about 1.5k maybe? I’m sorry for your loss OP and i think its lovely that you’re honouring your relative this way. I’m sure she would appreciate it 🤍 by Nice2BeNice1312 (Mon 7th Nov 2022 4:08pm)
  • Kaitlin Pitt at Anvil Tattoo in Rutherglen is great by Nice2BeNice1312 (Wed 9th Nov 2022 5:45pm)
  • I love the buskers in town. I havent been outside of Glasgow much, so I can’t comment on the prevalence in other cities, but I feel like the buskers contribute a lot to the atmosphere of the city. Also, if Ben Monteith is about, you can usually find Leo and Leo is always worth a trip into town. by Nice2BeNice1312 (Tue 22nd Nov 2022 3:07pm)
  • Ive got his album!!! He’s amazing, if you ever get the chance to see him live you absolutely should! by Nice2BeNice1312 (Tue 22nd Nov 2022 5:05pm)
  • I shop at lidl and usually its around £60pw. Thats basics though - meat, veg, spices, fruit, bread, yoghurts etc. there’s only 2 of us so cereal and stuff like that usually lasts a while and if I’m getting anything else its either online or Asda/b&m. In total i probably spend £80ish a week just feeding myself and my wife and I get cat food and essentials delivered monthly. by Nice2BeNice1312 (Sun 11th Dec 2022 9:28pm)
  • I like Dragon’s Way in Rutherglen! by Nice2BeNice1312 (Wed 15th Feb 2023 2:35pm)
  • Oof. Think I might give them a pass then (no pun intended). They do seem really persistent which kinda set off my alarm bells, I only had a look at their website yesterday and they’ve already phoned me twice and emailed me. by Nice2BeNice1312 (Mon 20th Feb 2023 2:00pm)
  • Grew up in and around Toryglen and youre right. The area has changed so much. Mind when i was a bairn we used to live in one of the maisonettes in the circus but it’s changed so much I dont even recognise the areas I used to play in. Aikenhead road is so weird now as well, used to be a dual carriageway (? Not a driver so unsure of terminology) and now it splits off into different areas. Mad how much its changed. by Nice2BeNice1312 (Fri 24th Feb 2023 8:25am)

  • So jealous!! I would *love* to see AC/DC live but I think Brians been told he cant do live shows anymore :( and Blink AND Twin Atlantic???? I saw TA opening for The 1975 and they were so good, not to mention Blink. But their ticket prices are insane this year by Nice2BeNice1312 (Sun 2nd Apr 2023 10:50am)
  • I know the feeling. Don’t worry about it, most people are too focussed on themselves/their phones to notice if you make a tit of yourself and the ones that do are either going to help or pretend they didnt see anything. Use google maps and the first bus app to know when to get off. Then use any landmarks around you to plan for the future (with the apps as a back up). Since youre 17 youll get the free travel, so use your youngscot card on the card reader - not 100% sure how this works since i missed the cutoff by a couple of months unfortunately, but ive only seen people put their card on and walk to their seat when the driver nods at them. Speaking of seats - if you sit next to someone, move to a free double seat when/if you can. Don’t sit on the seats at the very front as they’re for disabled/elderly/pregnant people (and disabled people like me will thank you). Please try to smell good. And be polite. Say thanks to the driver as you get off. Generally just dont be a dick. by Nice2BeNice1312 (Mon 10th Apr 2023 9:29pm)

  • Oh that poor baby!! Ive got plenty of cat food - dry and wet - and cat litter, if you need any. All of my cats go to Avenues Vets, i think theres one in cathcart but we go to the rutherglen branch and they’re amazing. They have payment plans if you’re struggling. I wish i was on benefits so i could help you out 😭😭 by Nice2BeNice1312 (Thu 10th Aug 2023 2:46pm)
