  • Avis looks to be twice what Sixt showed. I drive EVs at home and feel comfortable with them, but otherwise I'd rent something small and cheap instead. by Oliver_Dibble (Sat 3rd Sep 2022 12:36pm)
  • Nothing shows up on their site. Not looking for a Tesla, Porsche, or Audi, by the way!! by Oliver_Dibble (Sat 3rd Sep 2022 12:40pm)

  • They look good, but require a British license. by Oliver_Dibble (Sat 3rd Sep 2022 1:05pm)
  • Just called. They had none at the moment, but will check after the first of the year. I use a site called Plugshare, and they cover internationally. I found plenty of high speed charging, even a lot listed as free! Don't know if that's true, but worth a look. by Oliver_Dibble (Sat 3rd Sep 2022 2:58pm)
  • The website lists British as a requirement, might have to ask if a US license can work. Thanks! by Oliver_Dibble (Sat 3rd Sep 2022 3:01pm)
  • Thanks! Will keep those bookmarked in hopes of using them! by Oliver_Dibble (Sat 3rd Sep 2022 3:48pm)
  • £40-46/day (anything over 8hrs), 5p per mile. The gentleman I exchanged email with just now said that I \*can\* use a foreign license, but it must be certified at a British post office, which leads to timing questions (arrival, office hours, etc), not insurmountable, but an extra twist. by Oliver_Dibble (Sat 3rd Sep 2022 4:25pm)
  • Appears to be headed that way - Fiat 500 is pretty cheap for 2 weeks! by Oliver_Dibble (Sun 4th Sep 2022 5:11pm)
