  • When I was at my lowest I can remember reading a quote that someone once said. A philosopher or author I think. I can't remember what the quote was but the message was that if you're in a place where you truly feel like dying then instead of prematurely ending a life that you don't want it makes more sense to live the rest of it rebelliously. In other words, live the rest of your life without anxiety or fear. Live it free. You already want to die so why not just rebel against life instead and live truly free and happy. What I took from this quote was to never give a fuck what others think. If I feel like walking outside dressed as Batman today then fuck all the judgement that comes from others. If it makes me happy then fuck the anxiety and fear that's pushing this thought at the back of my mind. This is true freedom in life. Experiment with life instead of ending it. There was a time where I believed I wanted nothing more than to cease to exist so if I want to run down the street singing at the top of my voice then fuck it! I'll do that. It's more logical to experience your life as no one knows how many you get. You can find out what experience (if any) there is after death later but you can be certain that you're alive today so no matter what your circumstances live it freely and happiness will follow. I'll stop rambling now. by OutcomeReasonable253 (Thu 14th Oct 2021 12:12pm)
