  • I'm unemployed, been that way for a while. the job centre only see you for 5 mins to make sure you attend then your off and back to being unemployed. Indeed is the best website I've found but I get very little response from companies. Attending a few companies that help you fund employment but they only put you in jobs that are closely connected to that company and usually under £8 an hour and about 8 miles away with no transport . And to answer your second question. Being unemployed is hell, constant judgement and no help, no experience means no job basically. Any everyday depression builds up. I know this isn't what you intended but I hope it gives an understanding of my situation. by PharmaBen (Wed 4th Mar 2020 7:54pm)
  • Really anything except construction. I have alot of Computer qualifications and experience working in a royal mail warehouse. Although everywhere wa ts experience or is an apprenticeship paying £4.15 per hour so I'm pretty much dwelling on what to do. Probably have to suck it up and go into construction which would require like an hour travel to work. What about you, hows your situation? by PharmaBen (Wed 4th Mar 2020 8:17pm)
  • He,y, that's for the information I appreciate it. I guess a carer isnt that bad of an option I'll check it out thanks by PharmaBen (Wed 4th Mar 2020 8:37pm)

  • DELETED I've been with fair start Scotland since last August and you have only found me one job that was 10 miles away. by PharmaBen (Wed 25th Mar 2020 11:19am)
  • Hey, my council tax is £150 per month, yet the council have refused to collect our bins from the back court so I have to walk nearly 5 minutes to take the bin out down the street. Do you reckon I can refuse to pay for that service? I've heard absolutely nothing from them in the 8 months I've lived in my flat, I definitely think £150 is far too much by PharmaBen (Fri 5th Feb 2021 4:22pm)
