  • You could try freecycle, it isn't a charity or anything but a good way of passing on very much usable items you have no need for. by Pocketdragon82 (Fri 10th Jun 2022 1:53pm)
  • The current guidance (not rules that are enforceable or anything but a suggestion) is to wear them indoors in heavily populated areas. Personally supermarkets etc u wear them, the wee local shop where it will be me and one or two other people I don't. You will be in the minority but I've not had anyone come up and say anything to me for wearing one, might have got a raised eyebrow once but whatever. I have seen the odd person wearing them in the local parks and no one has even batted an eyelid at them. I think people are that used to seeing others in masks that they are accepted now. by Pocketdragon82 (Fri 24th Jun 2022 10:14pm)
  • There is also freecycle - https://www.freecycle.org/ You might need a van or such to pick up though. by Pocketdragon82 (Tue 12th Jul 2022 11:56am)

  • I like r:evolve - they are based in Cambuslang, Rutherglen and Hamilton. You donate you get points, you sign up and you get a few starter points, buy things with points. I use them as I was fed up of the local charity shop selling tesco kids tee's for£2.50.... by Pocketdragon82 (Mon 7th Aug 2023 2:28pm)
  • mTicket is a ticket on your mobile instead of a paper one. As a tourist I would be wary using that on scotrail though, I've heard that is the phone is registered abroad then it can cause issues. Following from others though, yup Google maps! I use it no matter where I travel, local or abroad. by Pocketdragon82 (Mon 28th Aug 2023 4:54am)
