  • Up until about seven years ago, you could buy etizolam over the counter in a headshop on byres road. It came in a wee bag, akin to a lucky bag you;d buy as a kid. Etizolam isnt stronger but 1mg of etizolam is equivalent to 10mg of diazapemam and without this knowledge, the assumption would be to take ten to mirror the effect of 10mg of diazepam when in fact you would have taken the equivalent of 100mg diazapam. It was a legal high, owing to being a *benzothiazepine rather than a benzodiazapience - a loophole which allowed them to sell. They are used widely in India, as their answer to diazapam.* by Quirky_Knowledge_406 (Tue 15th Dec 2020 11:19pm)

  • Etizolam is marketed in doses, normally 0.5, 1, 2 (mg) etc. People who take 20mg diazapam would then assume that to achieve the equiavelent dose, they should take 20mg etizolam, however this would equate to 200mg diazapam. by Quirky_Knowledge_406 (Thu 17th Dec 2020 1:01am)
  • Because 10mg of one is not the same as 10mg of the other. I'm unsure what you are not getting/disagreeing with? I'm explaining that the main danger lies in this difference, as to the average drug user drugs are sold as essentially the same, so if you are used to taking two blues (20mg) and are offered eitzolam and see its 1mg you would be wrongly enticed to take 20 to mimic two diazapam. by Quirky_Knowledge_406 (Thu 17th Dec 2020 1:23am)
