  • George foreman grills/waffle irons are amazing for reheating pizza/toasties etc and keeping them crispy. The cheese doesn't stick too bad and I'd easy to pick off. by Renegade_Cabbage (Fri 17th Jul 2020 10:59am)

  • Scout Leader here. "Ninja" is my favourite game for my kids. Have the group stand together and then take a jump back. They take turns taking a step and a stab with their hand against each other. The other kid can take 1 step to dodge it. If they get stabbed they are out. Works with big groups and down to about 4 or so. by Renegade_Cabbage (Tue 25th Aug 2020 12:06pm)

  • Netflix has a great documentary on this called the Social Dilemma. It explains that the world is becoming far more polarised politically due to the rise of social media and the computer algorithms that are are designed to push engagement (Commenting/liking/sharing) intentionally splitting people into far right and far left political stances. For example, many people feel that if you wear a mask you must be one of those left wingers because you listen to "Scientists" (eew). America is the prime example of this currently, but its getting worse globally. by Renegade_Cabbage (Mon 19th Oct 2020 2:47pm)

  • Look right Look left, Look right again. Move quickly and carefully while you continue to check as you go. Crossing in between tall cars/vans is dangerous as you cant see without peeking into traffic. Cyclists don't always follow rules of the road or basic decency of the pavement. Good luck out there. by Renegade_Cabbage (Wed 14th Apr 2021 3:07pm)
