  • Well, thanks for reading I guess haha by Ryan_Giant_Peach (Sat 5th Jun 2021 2:19pm)
  • Ah dang, that's brutal - although at least it's good to know that instructors have plenty of work just now after being unable to for so long! by Ryan_Giant_Peach (Sat 5th Jun 2021 3:06pm)
  • For sure, I work part time and have been on as normal throughout the full lockdown so the downtime was quite nice for me and my partner has been working from home, I feel for folk who have been stuck with nothing to do Theres only so many hobbies/things to do in the house before it all gets boring haha by Ryan_Giant_Peach (Sat 5th Jun 2021 3:11pm)
  • Bruhhh that's mad, at the very least, you've saved me the time of doing the same thing haha, I'll give it another few months I think Cheers for the info! by Ryan_Giant_Peach (Sat 5th Jun 2021 4:10pm)
  • Curious as to why not? Plenty of folk that spend a lot of their free time playing games! by Ryan_Giant_Peach (Tue 27th Jul 2021 8:21am)
  • Ah y'know, I get it haha Shoutout to solid gaming communities though, my friend group have had many nights playing smash bro's or Cod by Ryan_Giant_Peach (Tue 27th Jul 2021 8:54am)
  • Hold up, there are gaming shops around Trongate? by Ryan_Giant_Peach (Sun 16th Jan 2022 4:14pm)
  • I done the CodeClan course this year and finished up a few months ago, started a development job on 26k and have now accepted an offer elsewhere for 35k I had no 'actual' coding experience outside of following youtube tutorials so likely around the same level as you currently! It took me around 2 months to find my first role, but 50/60% of my class had jobs within the first few weeks thanks to CodeClans 'speed hiring' events, which are essentially speed dates with employers in a very casual setting I had a fantastic time at the glasgow course, the teachers were extremely supportive and often stayed back later to help anyone who was struggling As I experienced it so recently I'd definitely recommend it, worked out for me! by Ryan_Giant_Peach (Sun 9th Oct 2022 10:23am)
  • Sure! My class ranged from the youngest being early 20's and the oldest was late 30's, although the class that started just after mine had a couple of people in their mid/late 40's It is very much so an adult learning environment, each group will be different ofcourse but the impression that I got from it is that age doesnt matter at all, everyone was nice to each other and went for drinks together each week by Ryan_Giant_Peach (Sun 9th Oct 2022 9:52pm)
