  • Aye I think you’re right. The ‘What’s On?’ Part of their website goes past August right into September. by SamMallin (Sun 7th Aug 2022 12:45am)
  • I had two mice on two separate occasions in my old house which was a ground floor, four in a block. I used one of those long humane traps which worked pretty well, and made sure to release it at least 1-2km away so it wouldn’t just run back in. It was months before the second showed up and never had another after before moving a while later. If it’s likely only the one I’d try catching and releasing and you should be fine. But if another turns up pretty quickly then aye maybe best calling the pest control folk. by SamMallin (Wed 17th Aug 2022 12:39am)
  • I like to get a train to Milngavie, follow the West Highland Way to Dumgoyne, up and down and then back again. It’s a fair trek but really scenic, and if you had time could go all the way to Earl’s seat before heading back! by SamMallin (Tue 13th Sep 2022 6:51pm)
  • I'm a straight guy and I've been a few times and had a great time. by SamMallin (Sat 17th Sep 2022 12:48am)
  • Lived there for a number of years when I lived at home and my parents still live there - never had a problem and really enjoyed when I lived there. As mentioned by others there will always be the odd arsehole and the odd shit area. It’s fairly close to the city centre and decent bus links directly there as well. by SamMallin (Tue 11th Apr 2023 11:39am)
  • Agreed, great shop for hats/caps by SamMallin (Thu 8th Jun 2023 12:01pm)
  • There’s a place on the upper floor of The Forge that does t shirt printing, specifically for gigs, stags etc. Depending on how many, I don’t think they’d have trouble doing them same day. by SamMallin (Sat 24th Jun 2023 11:45am)
  • Tibo on Duke St is class and much better than Coia’s. Could also try Scran on the Parade. by SamMallin (Wed 26th Jul 2023 1:32pm)
