  • I'm a filthy immigrant who learned his English mainly from books and tv shows... also yes, to both those things lol by ShyisBrave (Mon 2nd Aug 2021 9:58am)
  • I had someone drive me home after work at 2am, she slowly veered on those things and kept us on them for 2-3 seconds until she realised that was not just a pothole she hit by ShyisBrave (Mon 6th Dec 2021 10:10pm)
  • I believe there is a place in marryhil just behind the McDonald's which is next to the big Tesco :) I haven't had the need for it, but I've seen signs for me AA there. Hope this helps by ShyisBrave (Wed 22nd Dec 2021 9:01pm)
  • Time out cafe for some banging falafels by ShyisBrave (Tue 28th Dec 2021 11:27am)
  • I queued behind the last person going in, man. I was physically within distance to yank her out and take her spot. by ShyisBrave (Fri 7th Jan 2022 9:06am)
  • I don't normally have issues with it, though I do take some of the most populated "coming every 5 min" busses.. by ShyisBrave (Fri 7th Jan 2022 9:10am)
  • In fairness yeah, I was outside. 40 minutes and 3 bus no shows later I still am πŸ˜… by ShyisBrave (Fri 7th Jan 2022 9:35am)
  • Poor wording on my part, but aye, not criticise is closer than defending to what I meant lol by ShyisBrave (Fri 7th Jan 2022 11:36am)
  • I think this guy was just unaware, I got no evil side glance as he drove off, though I have to say I've had a few shrugs behind closed doors before to say "that's a shame, u got here too late, wait for the next one ya fanny 😈" before by ShyisBrave (Fri 7th Jan 2022 12:31pm)
  • Basically, yeah, my foot bounced off the closing door. People in the stop saw it and let out some "wtf was that?" Kind of murmurs by ShyisBrave (Fri 7th Jan 2022 3:23pm)
  • this feels like an advert for boots more than a dis to me. I just made the post to vent and give me something to do the hour I had to wait for the next eventual bus. Understandably so with the snow we had. Water under the bridge at this point by ShyisBrave (Fri 7th Jan 2022 6:49pm)
  • Working on rectifying that 😀 by ShyisBrave (Fri 7th Jan 2022 9:15pm)
  • I doubt he did it with malicious intent, just didn't check his left mirror to see me dodge the closing door. Unfortunate timing at its worst πŸ˜… The hour in the cold with 4 no show busses after was the nasty bit by ShyisBrave (Sat 8th Jan 2022 5:39pm)
  • 07500896810 - his name is Gregor - my driving instructor, does 2 hour lessons for £60, I believe, I passed with 20 lessons just this week and I’m thinking now this sounds so much like an advert it might be marked down by mods lol. Should that be the case the dvsa website I believe has a list of instructors you can just put on your postcode and get the nearest ones to you by ShyisBrave (Sat 5th Feb 2022 2:30pm)
  • Why is everyone downvoting this post? πŸ˜… most comments too by ShyisBrave (Sun 6th Feb 2022 12:09am)
  • West end, scotstoun, but I know he used to take clients from all over Glasgow, might be worth a shot :) by ShyisBrave (Sun 6th Feb 2022 11:58am)
  • He only does manual, I was surprised at the price too, last year he would do 2 hrs for 50! Needle in the haystack by ShyisBrave (Sun 6th Feb 2022 11:49pm)
  • Yeeeah I’m a bit mad at myself for not doing it even 2-3 years ago, prices were still much cheaper than what they are now by ShyisBrave (Mon 7th Feb 2022 8:17am)
  • Shorter 2-3 stop tickets turn out cheaper as returns, it’s a whacky system by ShyisBrave (Thu 3rd Mar 2022 1:50am)
  • Only do megabus if you’re young or a masochist, I used to go a few times a year to meet friends when I was 18-20 and slept on the overnight coach. Tried doing that just 2 years later and I had the worst time of my life… as others said, plane is a nicer option. As far as accommodation, hostel No. 8 was super nice, less than a tenner a night for a 16 bed room or maybe £15 for a private room (If memory serves right) by ShyisBrave (Tue 8th Mar 2022 7:46am)
  • hehe... watchlist by ShyisBrave (Wed 30th Mar 2022 12:13am)
  • This is my biggest fear whenever I think I want an ebike… unless I never stop anywhere except home or bring it inside at work I wouldn’t feel safe leaving it around no matter the chain/lock system out there by ShyisBrave (Sun 10th Apr 2022 5:00pm)
  • they're supposed to live in with their parents, 6 bundled up in a nice two bedroom flat and save up until all the kids are 40, then they might stand a chance by ShyisBrave (Wed 13th Apr 2022 5:50pm)
  • Gave a guy my change as I came out of Tesco, like 1.50, and he asked for a £20, pointing me at the cash machine nearby by ShyisBrave (Wed 20th Apr 2022 10:18am)
  • Makes you wonder, would they steal London bikes to bring back north? Would they risk stealing the same bikes from their customers and (attempt) selling back to their owners? by ShyisBrave (Tue 10th May 2022 1:36pm)
  • I had my theory test rescheduled, and then cancelled on the day mid-covid… what I ended up doing was taking the night coach to Leeds and passed the theory in the morning there. Could not recommend less, but if you can’t find theory tests available soon here, you have that option. I booked my test two weeks into starting my driving lessons, which was about 2-3 months in advance (the soonest possible test) with tons of YouTube lessons in between. Good luck homie, it’s a grind but it is well worth it by ShyisBrave (Thu 26th May 2022 10:40am)
  • With prices of everything going up, seagulls might become a staple food in Glasgow by ShyisBrave (Sun 19th Jun 2022 8:06pm)
  • I noticed quite a few extremely territorial seagulls where I live, each one in their own street corner, chasing you down until you leave… it makes sense but man I hate those fuckers by ShyisBrave (Sun 19th Jun 2022 8:04pm)
  • Using them for Amazon same day deliveries might be another idea by ShyisBrave (Sun 19th Jun 2022 8:12pm)
  • Holy shit my gf and I saw a group of 60+ masked ranger fans walk out into paisley rd near the Italian restaurant, I’m glad we were just on our way home… by ShyisBrave (Sun 24th Jul 2022 1:16am)
  • Idk, the white and blue scarfs were telling a different story πŸ˜…… also the rangers T-shirts they were wearing. This morning I saw a splatter of blood on the halal shop just opposite of the restaurant… great neighbourhood by ShyisBrave (Sun 24th Jul 2022 12:35pm)
  • Again, I know nothing of the relations between the politics and football teams… I’d have no reason to lie. by ShyisBrave (Sun 24th Jul 2022 12:44pm)
  • I have no clue about anything related to football save for the colours… I’m not trying to bad name anyone, I’m just putting out my experience living near Ibrox by ShyisBrave (Sun 24th Jul 2022 12:40pm)
  • (I know the answer is 99% yes, really I just wanted to vent) by ShyisBrave (Fri 16th Sep 2022 1:09pm)
  • I’m not Glaswegian πŸ˜… learned English through YouTube. Car park*? by ShyisBrave (Fri 16th Sep 2022 1:26pm)
  • I drove, albeit briefly, in the bus lane, though I don't think the camera cares how long I was in the bus lane... by ShyisBrave (Fri 16th Sep 2022 1:37pm)
  • Oh right, well that took a worry off my mind. Not even a month ago I got a fine for driving in the bus lane around Central station. I'll just steer clear from driving around town from now by ShyisBrave (Fri 16th Sep 2022 1:41pm)
  • I could try to pull the 'road markings are not clear' card, although i had a wander through google maps and about 500m before that there were clear road marks indicating vehicles should take an 'earlier' left. Suppose I could play dumb and just point out the signs that benefit me lol. Pic for reference https://imgur.com/J61uh00 by ShyisBrave (Fri 16th Sep 2022 4:00pm)
  • I can play *really* dumb by ShyisBrave (Fri 16th Sep 2022 7:31pm)
  • I think that’s exactly the one, before I could drive id constantly see domestic cars drive there while I was waiting for the bus; I hadn’t even registered it as a bus lane for 2 years until I got a fine myself πŸ˜… by ShyisBrave (Sat 17th Sep 2022 9:58am)
  • The knightswood secondary kids are fucking scary when they get on the 6 bus, I thought that was their peak unhinged times of the day. Man was I wrong… glad to hear you’re getting out of there by ShyisBrave (Sun 18th Sep 2022 8:58pm)
  • I remember grabbing a kid by his jacket (to get to the egg carton in his off-hand) when he was throwing eggs at passing cars. He was a little shook but he seemed to feel he was completely safe, saying he’d get the police to lock me up for putting my hand on him by ShyisBrave (Sun 18th Sep 2022 10:29pm)
  • Weirdly wholesome by ShyisBrave (Sun 18th Sep 2022 11:22pm)
  • You’re needlessly aggressive man, chill. I’m Romanian and get called roma/romani all the time; it’s silly the names are so similar and a pretty easy mistake to make. Yes, they’re hugely different things, we can agree there, but throwing insults isn’t bringing anyone closer to your point of view by ShyisBrave (Fri 30th Sep 2022 11:29pm)
  • The only time my driving instructor had to intervene was to dodge pot holes(that I missed) that would’ve messed his car up… just south of the Clyde has been a nightmare in terms of outright dangerous holes by ShyisBrave (Wed 2nd Nov 2022 3:57pm)
  • How's the rat infestation problem around those parts this time of year? They were absolutely swarming there last summer. by ShyisBrave (Tue 10th Jan 2023 8:56pm)
  • I just checked and sadly it says '50% off until 2023' :( don't think they still have the deal on by ShyisBrave (Fri 13th Jan 2023 11:39am)
  • I went at revolution de cuba as they advertised 50% off, out of 2 main courses and cocktails, the cheapest meal (a burrito bowl) was the only thing discounted, saving us a whopping £5... by ShyisBrave (Tue 17th Jan 2023 11:20am)
  • I was a soldier extra there! Marching up and down the street for 7 hours.. good times To confirm what others said, the movie filmed was indeed Tetris, I’ve been following its delayed release for a while to *hopefully* see myself on the big screenπŸ˜… by ShyisBrave (Tue 14th Feb 2023 9:12am)
