  • Out of curiosity, have you ever lived in London? Or is this just you’re opinion? by Sije06 (Wed 7th Sep 2022 9:38am)
  • Been down here for 6 months since moving from Glasgow, foods not more expensive than Glasgow, The city travel infrastructure is far superior to Glasgow, not to mention the weather. The rent isn’t cheap, i’ll give you that, but everything else price wise is on par, if not cheaper. I.e my council tax is half off what it was in Glasgow. Not to mention I pay less personal income tax on my salary compared to Scotland. This idea that London is an unaffordable hell hole is quite the myth. Career progression also huge down here. Unlike Glasgow which is rife with Nepotism and people asking you your second name to work out what side of the fence you fall on…Crazy how your eyes are opened when leaving somewhere for a period of time. by Sije06 (Wed 7th Sep 2022 10:51am)
  • Your gonna get downvoted from all the angry wee ‘Glasgow is the greatest land on earth’ crew mate. Be prepared by Sije06 (Wed 7th Sep 2022 11:00am)
  • Exactly mate. I myself had a very bad view of London. Too busy, expensive and not worth it. I hadn’t even been before! Was an opinion formed by others I took myself. Made the move down 6 months ago and as a 24 year old single guy, i’m absolutely loving it. Never realised folk thought a scottish accent was sexy… Bonus points lol by Sije06 (Thu 8th Sep 2022 3:14pm)
