  • You could try somewhere in Argyle arcade as that as the jewellery arcade. Upstairs there are jewellery workshops which might take your items to clean. by Smashleigh_001 (Mon 28th Mar 2022 11:49am)
  • I reckon if you’re able to ask this question and wait for a response, it’s unlikely you need A&E by Smashleigh_001 (Tue 29th Mar 2022 6:44pm)
  • The Stagecoach X19, McGills 26 and 23 all stop near the hydro. If you as the drivers to let you know when to get off. You can catch the McGills 23 & 26 opposite the Pavillion Theatre on Renfield St and the X19 at the stop by Jungle Rumble Adventure Golf on Bath St. Hope that helps. by Smashleigh_001 (Fri 1st Apr 2022 8:04pm)
  • If you have an exam on that day can’t you ask your head of course to write an exemption letter? I got out of jury duty this year by getting the HR department to write a letter by Smashleigh_001 (Mon 4th Apr 2022 2:13pm)
  • I’m really sorry you’re going through this. I found this on a website: Men’s refuges There are specific organisations who help men experiencing domestic abuse. Call if you need to speak to someone: Men's Advice Line - 0808 801 0327 Abused Men in Scotland - 0808 800 0024 There are currently no refuges for men experiencing domestic abuse in Scotland. If you need to leave domestic abuse, you can get help from your local council. The council must give you somewhere safe to stay if you are at risk of abuse in your home. Here’s the website link too: https://scotland.shelter.org.uk/housing_advice/domestic_abuse_and_violence/domestic_abuse_get_help_in_an_emergency Really hope you can get something sorted out. Sending you lots of positive vibes by Smashleigh_001 (Sun 19th Jun 2022 2:42pm)
  • I know - I didn’t know this until I just found it today. It’s ridiculous - all genders can be a victim of domestic violence and should be provided with a place of safety by Smashleigh_001 (Sun 19th Jun 2022 7:14pm)
  • Society needs a complete overhaul. But I don’t think it will happen which makes me sad. I’m sorry you had to go through all that but I’m glad you got out the other side. Hope you’re much better now by Smashleigh_001 (Sun 19th Jun 2022 8:45pm)
  • I’m so glad you’re getting back on track - dating is horrendous at the best of times so I can’t imagine having to deal with what you have on top of it. Relationships always look amazing from the inside out as you do everything you can to convince yourself that it’s a “one off” and they’re really sorry. Rose tinted glasses have a LOT to answer for 🀣 by Smashleigh_001 (Sun 19th Jun 2022 8:54pm)
  • That’s exactly what I’m trying to work on - me making ME happy. I can survive on my own but I need to be happy on my own. Keep working - you sound like you’ve made great headway as it is. You’ll get there 😁 by Smashleigh_001 (Sun 19th Jun 2022 9:03pm)

  • Why did no one call the police instead of videoing it? Domestic abuse is unacceptable no matter the gender of the perpetrator. by Smashleigh_001 (Thu 14th Jul 2022 8:43pm)
  • Woman filmed assaulting a man. Labelled as two “morons possibly just brother and sister fighting like kids” with no evidence. Doesn’t matter if they are drunk or not. Shouldn’t matter if they are brother and sister, friends or in a relationship. Fighting should be reported. by Smashleigh_001 (Thu 14th Jul 2022 10:12pm)
  • If I come across them yeah I report them. Wouldn’t you want someone to report a crime against you or wound you prefer them to film it out their window and stick it on Reddit? by Smashleigh_001 (Thu 14th Jul 2022 10:22pm)
  • Being called a cunt can be both a good thing and a bad thing as over here it can be used to indicate that someone is decent, or that someone is a total arsehole. by Smashleigh_001 (Mon 18th Jul 2022 7:23pm)

I can’t say I’ve seen stockings but I did walk past today and there was a scarf in the sewing machine so maybe if you take your own stocking’s they’ll personalise them. by Smashleigh_001 (Sun 4th Dec 2022 10:42pm)
