  • Barr’s issued a profits warning in the summer, so although they’re saying it’s limited edition, this stuff is here to stay. They just don’t want to look like a 180 cause they lost a fortune getting rid of the old stuff. by SookMaBawzz (Tue 3rd Dec 2019 8:52am)
  • Sorry, you’re right. They’re releasing a practically identical version of the old stuff, with an identical sugar content, to 180 the effects that discontinuing the old stuff had on sales figures. by SookMaBawzz (Tue 3rd Dec 2019 12:29pm)
  • It’ll probably be on eBay already by SookMaBawzz (Tue 3rd Dec 2019 12:30pm)
  • Eusabi’s Deli on Eldon St is lovely for coffee, brunch, lunch or dinner. The Drake bar in woodlands is really nice for a few drinks and the food is great. (West End) Finneston has plenty of good options. From Lebowskis all they way up to Kelvingrove gallery on Argyle street has ample bars and cafes. (West End) Merchant Sq on Candleriggs/Bell St has plenty of bars and restaurants indoors. Has a market on weekends selling artsy things. (Merchant City/toward East End) Browns on George Sq is pretty chilled during the day. Bucks bar on West Regent St is a great fried chicken place/Bar. Check out their Instagram. Butterfly and Pig on Bath St. (City Centre) Cafe Strangebrew is a lovely brunch place on Pollockshaws Rd (Southside) by SookMaBawzz (Tue 17th Dec 2019 7:26am)
  • They’ve got a new system where you queue, don’t have to stand outside. Think they take your number and text when a table is ready. Let’s you have a wander and stay warm somewhere. by SookMaBawzz (Tue 17th Dec 2019 10:53am)

  • Can’t be following all the rules. That lights about to turn green and you’re still in the middle of the road... 😱 by SookMaBawzz (Sat 18th Apr 2020 6:43pm)
  • B&M’s are definitely open. by SookMaBawzz (Thu 23rd Apr 2020 9:41am)
  • Found out yesterday a gym in Glasgow was planning to open secretly and charge members £10 an hour, claiming they were putting safeguards in place so it was safe. But someone reported them to the council and the owner is raging. Wonder how many more out there are doing it and getting away with it. by SookMaBawzz (Fri 15th May 2020 9:00am)
  • Couldn’t agree more. Put on the end of his Facebook rant “everyone give the grass a round of applause. Ruined it for the good members” totally oblivious that what constitutes a ‘good member’ is someone willing to flout the rules with him and put people at risk with their selfishness. by SookMaBawzz (Fri 15th May 2020 11:49am)
  • Not a fan of the call out/doxxing culture. As much as the guys an arse, he’s still got a family to feed so won’t damage his reputation long term. The council have dealt with it from what I can tell. by SookMaBawzz (Fri 15th May 2020 12:04pm)
  • He might deserve it, but I bet you a lot of people down voting my comment have bent or broke the lockdown rules because it suited them. They’re not getting punished for it, so why should it be consequences for one person and not everyone? by SookMaBawzz (Sat 16th May 2020 8:30am)
  • Ok. You post links to your Facebook friends pages that you know aren’t following the rules so everyone on reddit can hound them, and I’ll name and shame the gym. by SookMaBawzz (Sat 16th May 2020 8:38am)
  • Same. My father in law is terminally ill with weeks to live, and I’ve been mocked by supposed friends for following the rules to the letter for fear of catching it and forcing my wife to isolate for 14 days and losing out on precious time with him. Mocked by someone who’s wife is 9 months pregnant but they’ve been having garden parties like they’ve some magical immunity. God forbid something was to happen to the baby. But they’d be the first to say it was everyone else for not following that caused it. People are dicks. by SookMaBawzz (Sat 30th May 2020 8:36pm)
  • Dickhead behaviour. Nae need. Helps naecunt n achieves fuck all. Just costs the council to clean it. by SookMaBawzz (Sun 7th Jun 2020 4:24pm)
  • Naw it’s no. Don’t talk shite. by SookMaBawzz (Sun 7th Jun 2020 4:22pm)
  • Agree with the anti-racism signs, but what’s with the anti-police signs? Surely no one attending the protest being fined for breaking lockdown rules shows that the police scotland are on your side... by SookMaBawzz (Tue 9th Jun 2020 12:03pm)
  • I’m sorry you had to deal with something like that. But police being busy dealing with ignorant racists before other things doesn’t mean ‘all coppers are bastards’. One of the signs read “DEFUND THE KKKOPS”, but your situation may have been dealt with better and quicker if we had more funding for the police support staff meaning less police doing paperwork and spending more time attending calls like yours ASAP. by SookMaBawzz (Wed 10th Jun 2020 7:36pm)
  • Sorry mate, misunderstood. Totally agree. by SookMaBawzz (Wed 10th Jun 2020 7:47pm)
  • Made the mistake of venturing onto the Daily Record Facebook page today where it is home to people that are refusing the vaccine while complaining that we’re still in lockdown. People don’t always make Glasgow. 🤷🏻‍♂️ by SookMaBawzz (Wed 10th Feb 2021 7:49pm)

  • Take it as you find it mate. No ones telling you not to. I enjoyed the honest depiction of something I grew up amongst. Still fiction at the end of the day so can interpret it however you please. by SookMaBawzz (Sat 1st May 2021 5:26pm)
  • Diced is amazing. They’re based in Edinburgh but deliver for a flat fee of I think £5. by SookMaBawzz (Thu 3rd Jun 2021 12:36pm)

  • It’d be my top priority if buying a new build. They go into so much more depth than a walk round check you can do yourself. Thermal imaging cameras to see where the house is losing heat through inadequate insulation, drone footage inspecting the roof and guttering, knowing the tolerences for walls and fittings being out of plum. Things that might not become an issue until years later. Judging by some of the snagging company’s videos on tik tok, some of the home inspectors that sign off new builds are wildly incompetent. by SookMaBawzz (Fri 14th Jan 2022 9:16pm)
  • Nothing? Has 2 train stations that go to Glasgow and a bus every 20 mins to Buchanan St. by SookMaBawzz (Sat 12th Mar 2022 9:31pm)
  • Ah, I didn’t catch the sarcasm. Cumbernauld isn’t great, but neither most of central Scotland. Most people just jump on the stigma without knowing much about the place or taking into account that where they live is shit but they’re biased. Seen post of folk talking about the south side being better. Clarkston and Newton Mearns are nice if you have money but the rest is a shithole with a few nice coffee shops. by SookMaBawzz (Sun 13th Mar 2022 6:58am)
  • Hup Lee in Motherwell was always a cracking Chinese buffet. by SookMaBawzz (Fri 18th Mar 2022 4:52pm)
  • I know most people won’t think about their car being insured for business purposes, but I mind a guy doing deliveries for an off licence near me getting his car towed by the police for only having social, pleasure and commuting insurance. Think the cop was being harsh but it can happen. by SookMaBawzz (Mon 21st Mar 2022 9:20pm)
