  • My partner woke up today with a cough and a fever, and now has a positive lateral flow test to boot. The only place he's been in the last week was the Central Mosque vaccination center on Thursday to get his booster, so sending a big fuck you to whoever went and got boosted while having Covid this week, good job spreading to people just trying to protect themselves and others. by SunsetOnARainyDay (Sun 26th Dec 2021 12:50pm)
  • Aye maybe, but people should still be testing themselves before going places with groups of other people. And then there's this post over in the Scotland subreddit... https://www.reddit.com/r/Scotland/comments/rmtcu8/covidiot_stories_of_the_week/ by SunsetOnARainyDay (Sun 26th Dec 2021 1:21pm)
  • The council can and will crack down on an unlicensed short-term let property, but ONLY if they are reported. They are not actively looking into Airbnb's, just responding to reports. by SunsetOnARainyDay (Mon 1st Aug 2022 11:44am)
  • There is already a policy in place (since 2017) requiring all short-term lets to be licenced, and licensing is not given to entire flats with a shared entrance or in a conservation area. If the owner is in the property though, the rules are more lax. Policy (the first downloadable file). and reporting are found here: https://www.glasgow.gov.uk/index.aspx?articleid=20795 by SunsetOnARainyDay (Mon 1st Aug 2022 11:42am)
  • Yep, same, in Garnethill. Looks like there's a burst water main somewhere: https://www.scottishwater.co.uk/In-Your-Area/Service-Updates/Glasgow-G2-G3-G4-G11-G12-G61-240123 by SunsetOnARainyDay (Tue 24th Jan 2023 4:35pm)
