I'm living in Wallace street now, and yeah the place is shady but honestly I feel like we got a good deal. The flat is nice, water pressure is hot wank but whatever. Just make sure to always have the doors locked. I don't know if we just got reasonably lucky though, and our flat definitely has its problems but it's by far not as bad as its made out to be. Lived there for 3 years, moved out last month. Honestly our place was fine. Bit loud with the neighbours cause the walls are very thin but overall it wasn't a bad experience so to speak.
