  • I will check them out, thank you. by TheLurker007 (Sun 12th Dec 2021 12:08am)
  • DELETED No I don’t. I didn’t think I would need it as I don’t drive much or travel long distances but it is something I’ll be thinking of in the future. I’d be happy to pay it’s just having a peace of mind with getting the issue sorted as soon as possible. I’m sorry I’m not knowledgable or know much about this topic. I do not have a spare wheel or repair kit but I did have a wee look and I can’t see any sharp objects or nail stuck in the tyre. It was also dark so I couldn’t see things as closely. By the time I got home most of the garages would have been shut as well. by TheLurker007 (Sun 12th Dec 2021 12:08am)
  • Thank you for the suggestion. I will check it out! by TheLurker007 (Sun 12th Dec 2021 12:15am)
  • It is probably common knowledge but I’m sorry I am clueless on this topic and I don’t know how I’d define how flat the tyre is. I don’t have an air compressor and with reading online about how you shouldn’t drive if you have a flat tyre kinda terrified me to take it to a local supermarket to pump it so it is just sat outside my house. But thank you that is an excellent piece of advice to tell how bad the puncture may be and something I did not think of. I do not have a spare tyre and yeah I’ve checked the well known mobile tyre fitters but none available till later next week. by TheLurker007 (Sun 12th Dec 2021 12:15am)
  • I will have a look into that. Thank you! by TheLurker007 (Sun 12th Dec 2021 12:24am)
  • Sadly I don’t have a spare but I greatly appreciate and thank you for the kind gesture. by TheLurker007 (Sun 12th Dec 2021 12:24am)
  • DELETED I did have a look but I could not see any sharp objects or nails. However saying that it was quite dark so I didn’t manage to inspect it in more detail. I’ve asked my next door neighbours and none have a jack or car mechanic equipment/tools. Thank you for replying and I’m clueless on this area so I had just automatically assumed to get my tyres replaced than the cheaper option of it being possibly repaired. by TheLurker007 (Sun 12th Dec 2021 12:20am)
  • DELETED I had assumed I’d need to have been covered and bought breakdown cover before this situation occurred. Thank you this seems to be a good option and especially since it is winter now. by TheLurker007 (Sun 12th Dec 2021 8:28am)
  • If this plan does get implemented, hopefully it won’t take years and years. by TheLurker007 (Sun 18th Dec 2022 10:32am)
  • Why is it considered rude and stingy? We aren’t obliged to tip in the UK. Just because they received a 40% discount off doesn’t mean they should be paying more tips to the waiter/waitress. by TheLurker007 (Wed 25th Jan 2023 11:32am)
  • Thank you so much for the links and I am so happy to know development and work is in place. I am very much excited to see the final completion for the metro and having the routes connected and change routes without needing to go into the city centre. by TheLurker007 (Fri 26th May 2023 12:48pm)
  • Not talking about the delays due to incidents but for example living a little further out and to get to one place most of the time I would need to get the bus to the city centre first. Also the time and cost it takes for the bus most times it is a lot better to opt for the car option. A lot of places have metro where you can switch routes without needing to go into the city centre and will make travelling to places a lot easier and efficient. by TheLurker007 (Fri 26th May 2023 12:51pm)
  • I would say in the 5-10% region if it is going to closing date. Southside is still crazy especially Shawlands. by TheLurker007 (Tue 15th Aug 2023 2:01pm)
  • I am not going to get my hopes up too much as the price will probably be something I can’t afford by TheLurker007 (Fri 25th Aug 2023 11:52pm)
  • How are they getting inside your garden? Front or back? Is it possible to fence it up? From what I am assuming you might be a corner house and the school children might not know it is part of your garden. I’d say best to fence it up by TheLurker007 (Mon 18th Sep 2023 2:56pm)
  • Go to the local Glasgow council MOT centre. But the waiting list will be long. by TheLurker007 (Mon 2nd Oct 2023 5:21pm)
