“Yes, I’m married. But my wife understands that a good politician has to be appealing to the ladies. The fact that I haven’t even gotten close to cheating on her is a disappointment to both of us.”

Yup. They are literally everywhere up the hill past the little bit of water. The higher you go, and the more rocky it gets, the better they are.

I remember a ~70 year old lady studying some of the same courses at university. Several people in their 60s for graduate studies too. Age is just a number

It's really hit and miss. Conceptually everything is great, but sometimes there are a lot of basic mistakes like way too much salt etc

Apparently some psychologists think it's to do with our recent (evolutionarily) choice to not poop outdoors. So people like to be seen picking up after their dogs, but exhibit it in the open when they think nobody is looking as a proxy for pooping outdoors.

There's gas trapped between the layers of glass that acts as extra insulation.

Went recently, it was not bad. Cooked to perfection, but many of the sauces were insipid and a couple dishes were entirely bland (not covid). Wine was great

From your source >when the public security bureaus of Nantong and Wenzhou began to launch pilots overseas. They were followed by similar initiatives from the Qingtian authorities in 2018, and more recently, operations run by the Fuzhou public security bureau >...allegations that since 2015 they have helped organise protests in Washington against Chinese dissidents. >reports of the stations being involved in “persuade to return” operations...Relatives in China of wanted people are sometimes pressured in these campaigns. In 2022 a minister from China’s ministry of public security said 210,000 people had been persuaded to return in 2021 This doesn't really seem to support at all what you are saying. The people working there aren't literal police officers, but nobody was making that claim (they aren't working in China after all).

So you are saying that - China wants, not necessarily political, criminals in foreign countries to return to china. And they have designated people, who are not working for the state (volunteers?), in foreign countries to facilitate this. And you feel that labeling this a police action, in foreign countries, is hyperbole or anti-chinese hysteria? Am I understanding you correctly?
