  • Has anyone been to the covid testing place at Glasgow airport? What was it like? How long did it take for results to come back? by VanicFanboy (Mon 29th Jun 2020 11:03pm)
  • Haven't been down this way in ages so I'm shocked it's not the rundown place it used to be. Back in high school I remember a bunch of us would go to the newsagents (we just called it Shaws) to get koka noodles and boost. In hindsight our diets were absolutely atrocious lmao but unfortunately that's every school kid really. by VanicFanboy (Sat 1st May 2021 11:13am)
  • Yeah definitely. It's close enough to enough places though that make up for it, Auldhouse retail park's just around the corner and you've got Pollok Park just across the road so I don't think residents can complain all too much. by VanicFanboy (Sat 1st May 2021 11:28am)
  • I saw that in school as well sometimes. The teachers just viewed the neds as a permanent lower standard of behaviour, so when they misbehaved in a way that other people would get in trouble for, they'd either be ignored or just given a wee slap on the wrist. No discipline ever given to them because nobody could be arsed. by VanicFanboy (Thu 25th Nov 2021 8:54am)
  • Would be quality having crystal clear water in the Clyde, nice wee days out sitting by the riverside in the sun watching all the dead bodies and needles floating by. by VanicFanboy (Tue 11th Jan 2022 12:26pm)

  • Especially the patter, people take it way too far with dark humour and in a lot of circles it's very normalised. by VanicFanboy (Thu 21st Jul 2022 11:09pm)
  • There are too many guys I know with Glaswegian accents that think it automatically makes them rough and hard and have amazing patter, you can tell it with how hard they'll sometimes try and put it on especially with people from outside Scotland, especially if it's a girl they're into. by VanicFanboy (Thu 21st Jul 2022 11:07pm)
  • If hate speech isn’t allowed surely it doesn’t matter if it’s sectarian or not? Clearly they’re both used to be hateful. by VanicFanboy (Fri 9th Dec 2022 10:42am)
