  • I'd move to a more residential area if it's causing you to lose sleep. I also live on a main Rd on the southside and it's the same, to be expected. If it bothers you I'd choose an area with less pedestrian traffic passing by, might irritate you, but that's the way it is I'm afraid. by Weaselsunite33 (Fri 1st Oct 2021 9:50am)
  • So I went to the website and got the new timetables, they are running. Thanks for all your replies. by Weaselsunite33 (Wed 15th Jun 2022 3:16pm)
  • Thanks for your reply. I live in Rutherglen so used to be able to get the 267, 21 and 18 until around midnight each. It looks like the 18 isn't running at all and when I put it into the app and Google maps, neither are giving the timetable options for these buses. It's claiming the 267 now finishes about 10pm. I do appreciate there's driver shortages too by Weaselsunite33 (Wed 15th Jun 2022 3:11pm)
  • Everyone is sick just now, I feel, cold weather fucked us. That and the plumbing, frozen pipes a plenty. Fabulous combo by Weaselsunite33 (Sun 18th Dec 2022 3:13am)

  • Tennents. 2 min walk away, has been there for decades, and is still pretty damp cheap. Basically, everywhere else in the immediate surrounding area is pretty pricey by Weaselsunite33 (Fri 30th Jun 2023 9:47am)

  • That is a standard bursary which is generous enough, the assumption is you'll take the loan to cover your living costs. Exceptions being nursing/paramedic/ODP degrees where you're working consistent 12 hour shifts, which are bursary covered. I agree with vast majority of posters, you'll either need to take the loan or fund your time in education some other way. The fees are already paid for by the education budget. No one ever wants to take a loan, but it's what you do as a student. by Weaselsunite33 (Sun 13th Aug 2023 8:30pm)
