  • And you would respond to the consultation accordingly however, what local amenity value is there if few people don't use the club? You would need to be a lot more specific in your arguments [like this one](https://publicaccess.glasgow.gov.uk/online-applications/files/C2556F8A1F97C509BD9031D56ED7737B/pdf/18_01345_FUL--3874826.pdf) and if the club has sold up a developer can try to get planning permission repeatedly with variations in design to answer the previous objections. by Welshite (Thu 7th Nov 2019 5:59pm)
  • Environmental Consultant here. I would agree with what /u/Raligt has to say and would add that after a quick search online the stablisation works for the Crusader Avenue mineshaft were carried out by [Soil Engineering](http://www.soil-engineering.co.uk/case-studies/mine-shaft-stabilisation/). They have case studies online and it's probably worth a phone call to them to get their opinion. The info should be in the public domain as the work was carried out for the Coal Authority by Welshite (Fri 28th Feb 2020 1:22pm)
  • That's the place. It was fishing in the pool between the bridge and the rapids just downstream of it by Welshite (Sun 7th Jun 2020 5:13pm)
  • The National Library of Scotland offers printouts and copies of its maps. There are town plans of Glasgow from 1746 and earlier which are free to view and presumably get copies of.
