  • It gives you real nasty food poisoning, it's near Strathclyde so it's where all the first years go for the first couple weeks before getting food poisoning, also the guy behind the counter starts fights with the students sometimes by Zandrades_ (Fri 2nd Aug 2019 10:44am)
  • You still alive or have you shat yourself out of existence? by Zandrades_ (Fri 2nd Aug 2019 10:42am)
  • Yeah I work there and even I sometimes have trouble getting hold of them online but if you show up when the doors open (maybe 5 mins before) there should be a bouncer at the front who will be happy to have a look in the lost and found for you. by Zandrades_ (Tue 7th Sep 2021 11:41am)
  • I'd say it's more a financial thing. Places that do accept students ask for a guarantor (like your parents or someone) who they can chase up about the rent if you don't pay. Cause in your case it's a mature student, if it's a flat you really like it might be worth emailing the landlord about your situation and they would probably make an exception by Zandrades_ (Tue 15th Feb 2022 2:35pm)
  • Yeah, or alot of other city's don't ban use of amplifiers but you need to apply for a license to be able to use them and can only use them in certain areas within certain time periods. As a performer I love street music for the colour it can bring to a city but if everyone is amplifying (especially the shite performers) then It just becomes a huge competition about who can play the loudest instead of playing music people want to hear by Zandrades_ (Sat 19th Mar 2022 2:28pm)
  • I'm a young female (22) who works in the techno and house scene in Glasgow and I have never once at a single venue in the city felt uncomfortable being on my own. The general crowd is full of lovely individuals and in the odd case someone bothers you, all the door staff are super friendly and understanding. Obviously nothing is 100% safe but I would say you will be totally fine as long as your sensible about it and don't get too drunk by Zandrades_ (Sun 2nd Oct 2022 8:13pm)
  • Had a few good take aways from Punjabis in Ibrox if your looking for outta the city center, the dining area looks like a nice space by Zandrades_ (Sat 8th Jul 2023 5:20am)
  • I work in a club in the city center and our only rule on dress code is no football strips by Zandrades_ (Fri 18th Aug 2023 12:34am)
