I went to London with a company called flexbus, it's overnight but does take 10hrs for about £20 a journey. You can book the seat beside you for like £3 so that makes a difference by ZorroNegro (Tue 8th Mar 2022 7:13am)

Welcome to Glasgow. If your gonna use the bus, you can download the First Group app which shows bus stops and will have ticket prices in that too. GlasGo taxi app, is Glasgow taxi, cheaper than uber. Not sure if you have ever been to Scotland. Call it whisky, as people will give you an odd look. Glasgow museums are great, kelvingrove art museum and try the transport museum, both free. Wetherspoons is cheap for alcohol, unlimited tea or coffee for cheap too. An app is available and they bring it to your table. Try irn-bru(iron brew) , square sausage and potato scone on a roll is great. I would say go to charity shops, I volunteer for shelter, they do delivery to one address for one price, so if you can get it all from one shop and at the same time, you will save some cash for van hire etc, and the guys will take it right to your flat by ZorroNegro (Sun 25th Jun 2023 1:51pm)

I tell people about it all the time, it's not that expensive either, I've seen landlords come in, buy stuff for am entire flat, beds, table, fridge, TV units sofa etc and only pay £20 for delivery. They are scams, you will make enquiries and they will tell you to follow link or even send an email with details of the ad. They will have an excuse like they moved to another country and can't get the vehicle for a silly reason, something like car is too big, or expensive to run or they drive on different side of the road so makes it difficult to drive.
