  • I was born in Glasgow, lived there until I was in my early 29s.and moved out to Lanarkshire where I was for about 12 years. Moved to Clydebank in the past couple years and it's the best of both worlds for me. Close enough to be in reach of Glasgow and the hills surrounding it. I haven't regretted moving at all. Maybe something similar, on the outskirts without being too central? by _Inno (Sat 27th Mar 2021 12:59pm)
  • Dennistoun BBQ has always been good for me by _Inno (Sun 28th Mar 2021 5:34pm)

  • Absolutely love the Necropolis especially if you can get one of the history books about it. Used to/may still be doing tours that take in part of it and it's just a fascinating place with so much history and so many stories. Baked down at the bottom of the hill from it is an excellent place to grab some food afterwards too 😎 by _Inno (Sat 10th Apr 2021 1:55pm)
  • Everywhere has A GUY. There's Flip-flop Guy near us,.no matter what weather, always wears torn shorts, blue rugby shirt and flip-flops held together with grey insulation tape, sometimes he has a shopping trolley though.. We also have walking shop guy, who walks to the shop for one thing at a time all day. Any time you look out the window, there he is going to the wee shop or coming back holding one thing. by _Inno (Tue 20th Apr 2021 12:11pm)

  • I'm in Clydebank, and I often do things in reverse, walk along the canal to Spiers Wharf or along the cycle path into Glasgow Green. If you're up for a longer walk, I've got the train to Balloch, walked across to Helensburgh and trained it back. by _Inno (Sat 3rd Jul 2021 1:56pm)
  • Grew up in Cranhill. Been back a couple of times to see what was left. Work in Dennistoun now so floating about Duke Street a bit, brings back the odd memory of when I was at Whitehill... not many good memories to be fair, but still. Still feel like I'm Glaswegian even though I lived in Lanarkshire for a long time. by _Inno (Tue 13th Jul 2021 11:59am)
  • Been getting the train since returning from furlough, Clydebank to Queen Street or Central. Mostly fine, but the odd idiot who does the chin strap thing unless the ticket person is in the carriage. Got the bus once. That was more than enough for me, by _Inno (Wed 21st Jul 2021 8:12am)
