  • I’ve done it three times on the old style one and each time vowed never to do it again, as you don’t sleep. Once you have arrived you forget about it though. by _Phantom_Wolf (Tue 9th Jul 2019 6:04pm)

  • Its been brutal these past few days. 100% on board with how people don't understand what it is like. You can't sleep ,which make it worse. by _Phantom_Wolf (Tue 29th Jun 2021 11:56pm)

  • Thanks, that's great. I've looked at that before and it seems like my only recourse is to serve everyone else a Duty to Maintain notice. I guess the only way forward is to get the council involved now. by _Phantom_Wolf (Sun 31st Jul 2022 1:37pm)
  • Thanks, this is good advice too. I think the council bill would be something like £20k per flat even with the matched funding from what I've researched. I guess fixing problems as they come is the only way. It's because 4 of the flats are owned by Landlords who don't care about their properties. Pricks. by _Phantom_Wolf (Sun 31st Jul 2022 2:54pm)
  • Thanks for this. Really useful to hear how you sorted it. Lots of perseverance! by _Phantom_Wolf (Mon 1st Aug 2022 1:25am)
  • Thank you so much. All of this is great advice. by _Phantom_Wolf (Tue 2nd Aug 2022 9:39pm)
  • Thank you for this advice and glad you got your place sorted. I really think its mostly the landlords not caring about their properties, by _Phantom_Wolf (Tue 2nd Aug 2022 9:41pm)
  • Plus the burst pipes that will be happening everywhere will take days, if not weeks to sort because there will be no plumbers/fire service available. People will be living in awful conditions. No food, heating or running water. by _Phantom_Wolf (Wed 3rd Aug 2022 3:50pm)
