  • No CCTV! The London Underground is about 100 times the size of our underground and they can pinpoint anyone going in and out and we have no pictures/video evidence on anyone 🙄 FS by _sjward_ (Sun 18th Aug 2019 1:45pm)
  • Yea, sorry, I meant to say that! I've seen the cameras everywhere in our subway stations, loads of em, I was surprised that they haven't gotten any footage 🙈 by _sjward_ (Sun 18th Aug 2019 3:14pm)
  • Shame, all for some talentless bam to get a name for themselves Hope it gets restored by _sjward_ (Sun 23rd Feb 2020 12:54pm)

  • You need to shout at the top of your voice to train a puppy? For Seven Months? Are you dense, Do one So Mr\_Morelos I guess its fine when someone or something isn't going your way so I should teach them by simply 'Raising My Voice' to get a point across/argument? You should rethink your life path my friend by _sjward_ (Thu 5th Mar 2020 5:21pm)
  • Just to see what people would do if they were in the same situation. Not a grass, didn't inclose any names or address. Just a simple 'what are the rules' But thanks by _sjward_ (Thu 5th Mar 2020 5:31pm)
  • Nah, its kinda dire. Having used TFL for 7yrs the buses here are a bit of a mess, I think it needs to be one company or tie in the subway and over rail services as a subscription style or something. Once a bus driver was annoyed that I was the only one getting on the bus and seemed to be annoyed that he had to stop. by _sjward_ (Wed 25th Nov 2020 4:01pm)
  • Hello! I have just set up a website, I am a student that's in my final year at BA Design, but I used to be a freelance artist, going to try and get my work into local shops soon but for know if you are still looking, head to the shop section on my website, www.stephenjamesward.co.uk by _sjward_ (Thu 3rd Dec 2020 4:24pm)
  • I'm on Tantallon road, the road behind that flat listing and it's a nice wee area but not really sure what's going on there, I think landlords think by putting some art up and some new IKEA furniture that they can command such a high price. We lived in Colliers Wood near Wimbledon and our rent was about what they are asking, but it was a house converted into a flat, had a garden, nice inside, I'm sure it (hopefully) won't get into crazy ungovernable rent surges in Glasgow 😬 by _sjward_ (Fri 17th Dec 2021 9:18am)
  • I think this is another thing I find, when there not getting collected people have no choice really to put thier recycling in with regular waste (even if there is room, going by your picture). I know it's not going to change overnight but little things like this piss me off after the green washing of COP26. On a side note, I took some recycling to Polmadie and asked if they had plastic bag area, they said '...aye...see that last skip, that one' but when I looked there was all kinds of rando metal, wood, bags of God knows what. I think Dispatches might show the council or whoever up soon enough. by _sjward_ (Fri 17th Dec 2021 9:36am)
  • Yea, our rent went up last month actually albeit by a manageable amount (if there is such a thing!) But it's true what your saying, little price hike, then perhaps another. Before you know it your trying to convince yourself that it's just what the market area is and it becomes just another bill! But if you are looking in the area, I'd still keep trying, but that listing did make me laugh and smh 🙄 by _sjward_ (Fri 17th Dec 2021 9:42am)
  • Our landlord is actually one of the good ones. We had a previous one when we noticed a little bit of mould in the bathroom they said it'll be fine. Then a mushroom appeared between the wooden flooring, they then came out and said we will treat it. But, they used normal paint and by the end of the month mould was all back, worse this time as the white paint they had used really showed it up more 😂 by _sjward_ (Fri 17th Dec 2021 11:31am)
  • Yes, we only lasted 5 months there, would have been sooner but paperwork, finding a new place etc. Funny thing is it could have been avoidable if they coughed up the cash and fixed it when it was a small problem. I was on the bus when I was passing the old mould flat when I had noticed the roof and windows were being replaced, must have been a problem waiting to happen! Yea, I have touched up little things here and there in our flat, new lampshades, some light fittings but I always say to myself, I shouldn't but then as you said, you are forever waiting for them! Hope you find something! I have just realised I'm being a bit doom n gloom! by _sjward_ (Fri 17th Dec 2021 12:00pm)
  • 😂😂 yes, very true! I'm sure I have a little book somewhere that identifies mushrooms in the wild, but that was my first encounter with a bathroom variety! Yep, same here, it's very little improvements that don't have a big impact, but we did request shelves but got turned down 🤷‍♂️ pick your battles I suppose by _sjward_ (Fri 17th Dec 2021 1:08pm)

  • Was walking to work near Shields Road Subway. Waiting at the lights and saw the lights were still red, there were only 2 lanes, so I decided to go (did that daft wee jog that doesn't make you go any faster) then a big Mercedes Jeep started to just go! I was thinking you goon, are you that impatient that you need to make a point, maybe I should have waited, I think I will now as too many plums on the road by _sjward_ (Sun 10th Sep 2023 10:21am)
