  • Btw I will be in short of money at my second year because I am kinda spending my whole money to enroll. Thats why a part time job would be awesome for me because I probably have to pay for my second year by my self by adfa2020 (Tue 29th Sep 2020 9:53pm)
  • Hmm I see, well I kinda want my own place tbh. Under 600-750£ maybe. And for the side gigs I am currently a programmer and have experience with repairing electronics and I have worked at construction sites too. I can do tutoring maybe because I saw there are many demands for that field (I can give lessons in music, math, chess, coding, robotics and science) Well thats nice lol by adfa2020 (Tue 29th Sep 2020 10:44pm)
  • Lol thank you so much by adfa2020 (Tue 29th Sep 2020 11:44pm)
  • I mean I have some skills which I can make money out of such as: coding, musicianship and I have worked in construction sites I can work at manual labour required areas as well. I dont know how much I can get but as I read from some job searching websites I can make some money out of tutoring. by adfa2020 (Wed 30th Sep 2020 12:46am)

  • We are just claiming two of us are couple and the other dude is just with us basically, also HMO flats are harder to find and more expensive by adfa2020 (Fri 17th Jun 2022 2:47pm)
  • Try to find a proper HMO flat in west end for a reasonable price, its close to trying to find a needle in the hay by adfa2020 (Fri 17th Jun 2022 2:51pm)
  • What about no and lets lie to the landlord, why the hell do I have to care about some bullshit like HMO. Its just there to fuck things up even more by adfa2020 (Fri 17th Jun 2022 2:55pm)
  • Thats the reason why I'm willing to pay such an excessive amount of rent and deposit ? Also whats wrong with having a special district on my mind. Its closer to uni, it got a better feeling than rest of the city(Especially compared to fucking Tradeston and maryhill) by adfa2020 (Fri 17th Jun 2022 3:04pm)
  • Its closer to uni and I can easily commute back and forth to my job from there. Subway is accessible and streets actually feel like an artpiece. by adfa2020 (Fri 17th Jun 2022 3:06pm)
  • Yeah, I have been struggling for longer than a month :)) by adfa2020 (Fri 17th Jun 2022 3:14pm)
  • >Landlords also tend to opt for female tenats so that’s something to keep in mind. And couples aren’t super sought after either because of the risk Yeah this is actually a good point but I believe my budget is actually good for the area. by adfa2020 (Fri 17th Jun 2022 3:13pm)
  • I mean I have worked in southside for a while and I really hate Tradeston area. Also Paisley etc. is too far away from any place I go on a daily basis. I dont wanna be commuting 2 hours everyday or pay super high uber bills every nightout. by adfa2020 (Fri 17th Jun 2022 3:11pm)
  • Mate, trust me I know this city well enough. I have been and stayed in many parts of it. Also I probably seen more countries and lived in more cities than you. Jeezo, Geez peace bruv. by adfa2020 (Fri 17th Jun 2022 3:09pm)
  • Nah I just work my ass off for everything. I have been working full time since my last year in highschool. I just want to be paying for what I want. by adfa2020 (Fri 17th Jun 2022 3:19pm)
  • I dont believe I'm any gods gift. I just want to be able to live the way I want with the amount I spend. Its not something super hard to expect from life ig ? by adfa2020 (Fri 17th Jun 2022 3:21pm)
  • Yeah sure grandpa, have you ever seen flats on zoopla or rightmove ? average price is around 1500 and the reason why its hard to find anywhere is the amount of people applying not the price by adfa2020 (Fri 17th Jun 2022 6:40pm)
  • I have been renting a flat around North Kelvinside/Maryhill road area, its a two person flat my part was 480 Pounds mate, for a three person flat(which is actually the most optimised amount from my experience for price and crowdedness) I'm willing to pay around 550 ish basically. My main problem isnt the price of the flat even for the expensive ones they go on the day. Thats my main issue by adfa2020 (Fri 17th Jun 2022 9:23pm)
  • This might be the best comment under the whole post tbh, thank you for your insight. I'm not looking for an awesome flat. I just a place close to my mates and places I go on a daily basis cuz my only actual expense is alcohol and cigarettes. by adfa2020 (Fri 17th Jun 2022 9:33pm)
  • It helped me to gain a better pov about the situation. Thanks mate by adfa2020 (Sat 18th Jun 2022 1:25pm)
  • Its illegal to buy sex in UK by adfa2020 (Wed 22nd Jun 2022 5:25pm)
  • I made a shopping trip to Lidl this thursday. Bought two bottles of wine, a liqour and a 4 pack of beer. Top to that I bought my biweekly shopping. It costed me 48£. Without the booze it was around 32£ and eventho I was munching food like a maniac I still have loads left. If you can go to Aldi its alot more cheaper by adfa2020 (Sun 7th Aug 2022 11:42am)
  • I do agree that it appeals to a quite young age group but for someone who used to smoke a pack a day for the last 7 years it is helping me to reduce it to a pack every 5-6 days. by adfa2020 (Sun 7th Aug 2022 11:40am)
  • Nah, they just suck sooooo baddddd. I fucking hate first. I wish the bus routes were either owned by the council or it was Lothian by adfa2020 (Tue 27th Dec 2022 2:04pm)

  • FIXING MY FUCKING SHIRT AND TROUSERS MATE. Trying to look good yk(I also would recommend you to have a shower), it makes me feel anxious to have someone from the opposite gender in the same area while I am fixing myself infront of a mirror. by adfa2020 (Tue 27th Dec 2022 2:26pm)
  • This is planned to be built around 2025 its not a far date. We will see ig. But HS2 is a massive disappointment from my side. by adfa2020 (Wed 22nd Feb 2023 7:51pm)
  • As far as I have understood from the conference this plan is accepted and they will use the old rail lines and renew it to create a soft rail subway/tramline. I got pretty hyped up when I heard that they will use the old tunnels and stations under the botanics as well. by adfa2020 (Wed 22nd Feb 2023 7:50pm)
  • As someone lived in Rutherglen I cant agree more. Just relying on the stinky railway station and the bus 7 is idiotic for a hub like Rutherglen by adfa2020 (Wed 22nd Feb 2023 8:03pm)
  • I think so. by adfa2020 (Wed 22nd Feb 2023 8:01pm)
  • I cant agree more. After the conference I had a massive convo with one of the main planners and they have expressed their concerns over Glasgow’s highly car dependent system which is extremely outdated atm compared to European standards. They even pointed out that we lack behind compared to some cities in the states. Also we talked about reducing the bus usage and introducing a new hydrogen based Tramway System for the central which will go all the way upto Bearsden by adfa2020 (Wed 22nd Feb 2023 8:08pm)
  • This is an approved plan by adfa2020 (Wed 22nd Feb 2023 8:05pm)
  • Planning authority approved it last year :) by adfa2020 (Wed 22nd Feb 2023 8:12pm)
  • That is an important concern as well. The new proposed hydrogen based tram and train systems seems viable and better compared to the old diesel powered ones too. I have seen some impressive charts wish I took some pics from there too but alas. by adfa2020 (Wed 22nd Feb 2023 8:12pm)
  • I had to walk through Govanhill once. Place has been turned into a getho by the council. Its dirty and feels dangerous. by adfa2020 (Wed 22nd Feb 2023 8:09pm)
  • The main focus was on switching to hydrogen based trams/trains/Glasgow Subway2.0 and reducing the bus lines while increasing the quality of the remaining ones. They just mentioned this briefly while explaining that this is an approved expansion by adfa2020 (Wed 22nd Feb 2023 8:50pm)
  • Fuck off. I got rejected by three busses and had to walk the whole way. Try doing that and call me a cock again wank. by adfa2020 (Wed 22nd Feb 2023 10:29pm)
  • Yes it is a massive point. You can get from Heathrow to Glasgow in 3-4 hours if the HS2 expands towards Scotland. This would massively decrease the emissions and ease up the country wide transport. by adfa2020 (Wed 22nd Feb 2023 10:28pm)
  • Yeap exactly. by adfa2020 (Wed 22nd Feb 2023 10:26pm)
  • I have no information regarding to that but during the QA session I pressed on deprivation of the public transport(a country wide deprivation) would help alot since with a private company all you have to care about is the busy routes while council or the public system would actually be required to run the same system and service for every inch of the city. Yes this would reduce the overall bus quality maybe but being able to ride the bus and get to the point b is alot more important for me than comfort. by adfa2020 (Wed 22nd Feb 2023 10:33pm)
  • Dont waste your time with Lizzo my guy. by adfa2020 (Tue 7th Mar 2023 8:10pm)
