  • Y’all got room for an American visiting from Nashville? by agentile1990 (Sun 26th Jun 2022 9:17pm)
  • Thanks for the info! Any suggestions where I’d be less likely to run into this problem again? by agentile1990 (Tue 28th Jun 2022 2:01am)
  • Unfortunately no. The group of Englishmen were getting more vocal about Sweet Caroline and Dancing Queen. Figured that was my cue to leave 😅 by agentile1990 (Tue 28th Jun 2022 2:00am)
  • Yea, traveling alone this time. by agentile1990 (Tue 28th Jun 2022 10:37am)
  • I'd really love to find a place with some funk, soul, or jazz. I'm not sure if a club, bar, or pub would be more appropriate. Sunday, I read an article that listed off jazz places in Glasgow and somehow Slouch made it on that list? Seemed kinda cool (which it was), but was definitely not what I would consider a jazz place lol. by agentile1990 (Tue 28th Jun 2022 10:42am)
  • Thanks! I thought I heard some good tunes coming out of there on my way back to the bus. by agentile1990 (Tue 28th Jun 2022 10:58am)
  • As a visitor, I try to maintain a very open mind when it comes to culture and customs. I was a working musician for 10+ years, working in country bars across the south eastern US. I would NEVER argue with a bouncer. They're just doing their job. I was honestly more curious as to what she mean by, "people like you." That could mean men, American, brown hair, or even the color of my shirt apparently. Great feedback from the community. We'll try another place tonight! by agentile1990 (Tue 28th Jun 2022 10:56am)
  • Yup, bought my tickets in October of 2021. Flew in from the US last Saturday. Fruciante was on my bucket list… What about Anderson .Paak and Thundercat tho? by agentile1990 (Fri 1st Jul 2022 9:11am)
  • Well aware. Thanks anyway. by agentile1990 (Fri 1st Jul 2022 2:50pm)
  • I don’t have to be black to be offended by a confederate flag. Edit: I lived in Nashville up until a few months ago. Follow both subreddits because the company I work for is here. 100% thought this was in Nashville! Why tf do y’all have a Grand Ole Opry? by agentile1990 (Fri 16th Dec 2022 8:36pm)
  • I’m an American moving to Scotland in 2 weeks. I’ve been working on this process for over two years. I still don’t have a damn flat to live in but at this point we’re going to figure that out when we get there. by agentile1990 (Thu 26th Oct 2023 2:34pm)
