We don't necessarily need to be near the city, but I wouldn't mind not having to drive too far to the shops! I will take a look at those neighbourhoods. Thank you so much :)

Thank you so much! Funny enough we were looking at houses in Bearsden, but I will make sure to also check out Milngavie. I'm very excited to get out an explore Loch Lomond! My husband is more worried about where the best distilleries are :)

Not from Toronto, were from Halifax - currently being squeezed out by people from Toronto π

This was such a lovely response, you made me smile!! I would love for my children to learn Gaelic, it's been a dream of mine that they pick it up (I know it would make my Great-grandfather proud). I will look into both of those areas! I really appreciate this π

Thank you for the advice!! I knew it was called Lorne sausage, but over here if I ask for it I get funny looks π. We like small and quiet, we just also need to be somewhat near a city to be able to do our shopping on the weekend. Thank you for letting me know about a GP - that's my main concern because of our children.

That all sounds great!! We've been looking at Bearsden, but I'm wondering if Drumchapel is also a good area to be looking at?

Thank you so much for this!! I have been so worried about which areas I've been looking at (in terms of safety). I will look into GME, along with places in the North west, I just really would like an affordable place, but would love even a wee backyard for the kids to runs about in. And thank you for pointing me in the right direction for sausages :)

We did some homework yesterday, if you don't mind can I bother you once again? We are just wondering if Castlemilk is a good area? We are attempting to find 4 bedrooms which are seemingly rare, but the townhouse in Castlemilk looked lovely.

It was! There are only 9 4 bedrooms in all of Glasgow currently, so we were just starting from the top of the list. I feel as though we should be looking anywhere north of the city centre.
