  • I have applied to a few call centres but never heard back, it does seem more manageable when you are just following a script. I appreciate the help. by aviucado (Fri 23rd Jul 2021 1:38pm)

  • My course is focused on games. Primarily C#, some Python and I'm teaching myself C++ in my free time. I'll definitely keep an eye out for admin jobs. Thanks for the advice! by aviucado (Fri 23rd Jul 2021 2:20pm)
  • Thank you, I'll check them out! by aviucado (Fri 23rd Jul 2021 2:28pm)

  • That's why I specified that they require different levels of people skills, I can mask pretty well in small groups, for short periods of time. But a constant stream of overwhelming loud people speaking to me in a retail job for example is not manageable. It's much easier when a conversation has a goal, I don't have trouble working in a team at uni or discussing things with my tutors. I have trouble with what people expect in "customer service" roles. by aviucado (Fri 23rd Jul 2021 10:52pm)
  • Thank you! I'm hoping that you're right about people's attitudes changing. I might try checking with my local ASDA. by aviucado (Fri 23rd Jul 2021 10:55pm)
  • I am going to try and see what support is available through uni and I'll check out the places you suggested too. Thanks for your help, man! by aviucado (Fri 23rd Jul 2021 11:22pm)
