  • I also have conversational Dutch but am super rusty so I would be happy to do a course or something to brush up as well. by becksaloid (Wed 11th Nov 2020 8:04pm)
  • Sent you a note on insta - this is a great idea! by becksaloid (Tue 17th Nov 2020 8:38pm)
  • This is great. We have taken in a foster dog through Pet Fostering Service Scotland http://www.pfss.org.uk/ which could be added to your animal link. by becksaloid (Sun 22nd Nov 2020 10:16pm)

  • I'm sure you don't want to be separated from your dog but on the off chance you need to be Pet Fostering Service Scotland [http://www.pfss.org.uk/](http://www.pfss.org.uk/) can help you out. I'm a fosterer and have just looked after a dog that's owner was unfortunately made homeless. We looked after the dog while social services worked hard to get a home for the dad. We are so pleased we were able to reunite them. You can DM me if you need help with your dog - while it's not the ideal option at least there's a way that may help you out. I wish you all the very best with finding somewhere soon. by becksaloid (Fri 11th Dec 2020 8:53pm)
  • Yeah it’s tough, we’ve done it a couple of times to help people get on the housing list. It’s not ideal but it’s an option. I think there are a few places around but it depends on you social services and availability of Fosterers. It’s worth trying the Dogs Trust for sure. Getting in touch with social services is a good first step as they will know what the best option is in your area, sometimes they can even help with the cost of food/vet bills for the dog. by becksaloid (Fri 11th Dec 2020 10:13pm)
  • We took in a foster dog that had a bunch of behavioural issues and the PFSS recommended Helen Raw from https://www.rawspaws.com/ she was absolutely awesome. We had an initial call with her (not in person due to lockdown) and we had immediate (like within 3 minutes) changes in behaviour. We needed to continue doing calls for each of the different issues as they came but she had simple instructions that we could follow along and reminded us of things to practice. Sounds easy but sometimes it was hard to do but I can highly recommend her. Good luck with it all! by becksaloid (Mon 28th Dec 2020 2:56pm)
  • We moved in August, we couldn’t donate anything but I put stuff up on freecycle and it all went within 2 days. I don’t know about selling but if you would be donating it anyway then freecycle is a good option by becksaloid (Wed 6th Jan 2021 11:41am)
  • Contact Helen at RawsPaws https://www.rawspaws.com/ she will know a way to get him in. I think it takes a bit of consistent training though. She’s lovely so will hopefully be able to help. She helped us over a video call.. Good luck! by becksaloid (Thu 3rd Jun 2021 10:57pm)
  • Galvin’s Garage in Bridgeton is fantastic- we’ve been going there for years and they have always had great service by becksaloid (Tue 13th Jul 2021 10:01pm)
  • We had take out a lot from them during lockdown, great food (we often had the kebabs which they were always careful to explain they were kebab sticks not a wrap). They have great spices and are really lovely folks. Go and enjoy! by becksaloid (Sat 14th Aug 2021 7:41am)
