Not enough folk to play Saboteur with. We now have a ridiculous amount of Keyforge decks, so we're ready for next year. by boredweegie (Thu 24th Jun 2021 11:46am)

  • Gimp den is coincidentally excellent patter. by boredweegie (Fri 16th Sep 2022 12:09am)
  • Is anyone else suffering from urgent, frequent trips to the bathroom lately? I've been dealing with this for a few weeks and it's a right pain in the arse, no pun intended, but I feel like a GP visit would be hard to come by (and I try not to go for smaller issues that will likely clear up). I heard there might be noravirus going around. Wondering if that's going to be what it is. by boredweegie (Mon 17th Oct 2022 7:02am)
  • Admittedly that is a little terrifying, but it's also good motivation for calling the GP. Thank you 🤜🤛 by boredweegie (Mon 17th Oct 2022 12:22pm)
  • Yeah, I heard it shouldn't last this long. I'll take you up on that and call the GP. Thanks for the advice 🤜🤛 by boredweegie (Mon 17th Oct 2022 12:21pm)

  • Thank you, I will put my natural wariness of salespeople to good use. I'm surprised by the amount of people recommending against finance, so that's definitely something I will need to consider. Attention to detail isn't my strong suit, but I'll give it a go! by boredweegie (Tue 18th Oct 2022 2:23pm)
  • Thank you, I'll have a look. Yeah, I don't think I have enough knowledge to risk private sellers. by boredweegie (Tue 18th Oct 2022 2:21pm)
  • Thank you! Aye, I've had people say to expect bumps and scrapes for the learning curve, so getting something outright is the best option. Thank you for the advice. Seems PCP is much less popular than I was expecting. by boredweegie (Tue 18th Oct 2022 2:21pm)
  • Noted, thank you. Seems wiser to avoid these cunts at all costs. by boredweegie (Tue 18th Oct 2022 2:29pm)
  • Thank you, that's good to know; I will try to look past their annoying advert. Side note: excellent username by boredweegie (Tue 18th Oct 2022 2:27pm)
  • Thank you. Based on the other responses, I'm wary of going to a dealership, but good to know where to start if it comes to it. by boredweegie (Tue 18th Oct 2022 2:32pm)
  • Thank you. Seems like an overwhelming vote against PCP, which I wasn't expecting. I can see a loan in my future. Thanks for the recommended target range, that's particularly helpful. by boredweegie (Tue 18th Oct 2022 2:31pm)
  • That's an interesting approach. Thank you, I will follow in your footsteps and see if I can't find something that way. by boredweegie (Tue 18th Oct 2022 3:08pm)
  • Well spotted, but definitely not. That's for my GP to worry about now. That being said, I think focusing on not shitting myself definitely helped in not panicking about the test. Bigger priorities and all that. by boredweegie (Tue 18th Oct 2022 4:01pm)

  • I just want to add that you can postpone your test easily. Though the website says you won't get an appointment for months, there are always cancellations. If you check the website often (every 15 minutes for a day), I guarantee you will get one within a week. I passed in October. Originally booked in for February, but got it moved up within 2 days of trying to December, November, then finally in October. Persistence is the key! Oh, also do it in incognito mode because they don't like you doing this. Also, don't just refresh the page; go back to your test, then go through the check dates process. If the calendar doesn't show any new dates, do it all again in 15 minutes. by boredweegie (Tue 27th Dec 2022 11:46am)
  • As far as I understand, instructors are like gold dust right now. I was paying £74 for a 2 hour lesson every week, for reference. by boredweegie (Tue 27th Dec 2022 10:09pm)

  • The MOT the year before noted an exhaust issue, as well as a long list of things. Then, the MOT they carried out, lists nothing at all. Now all of a sudden there are a list of issues, including a full exhaust replacement? by boredweegie (Wed 5th Apr 2023 1:51pm)
  • I'll take it somewhere else to get it checked then, thank you. No, I just took it in for one for the sake of it. by boredweegie (Wed 5th Apr 2023 1:50pm)
  • First, thank you for looking into this. I can't see any advisories for the 2022 one. Did you see any for the exhaust? It's not had any problems. I just took it for a service because I thought I was supposed to take it every 6 months. by boredweegie (Wed 5th Apr 2023 2:38pm)
  • 😵 by boredweegie (Wed 5th Apr 2023 2:42pm)
  • The Mazda Macklin Motors in Hamilton. I can't see any advisories for the 2022 MOT. SK12YRM. I don't think it's been that loud, but I can't be sure it's louder than it's supposed to be. Serviced early because I thought it was supposed to be serviced every 6 months. It's my first car so I don't know everything yet. by boredweegie (Wed 5th Apr 2023 2:41pm)

  • You seem to be bang on the money here. Taking it to a small garage near me for a second opinion. Thank you for taking the time to look this up. I'm overwhelmed by everyone's helpful replies. This was a deeply alarming day, and everyone's been really sound about it. by boredweegie (Wed 5th Apr 2023 6:21pm)
  • Sorry, I'm actually next to Queens Park. The car insurance states that services need to be done at Mazda approved centres, hence the trek to Blantyre. Sorry for all the research you've done 😅 by boredweegie (Wed 5th Apr 2023 6:34pm)
  • Thanks for the recommendation. I'm looking at a list of places, so I'll check them out 👍 by boredweegie (Wed 5th Apr 2023 6:38pm)
