  • Cheers, that's some solid info. I'll have a walk tomorrow and check it out. by burneraccount8421 (Thu 20th May 2021 10:48pm)
  • £7 is more than reasonable! What kind of chat are we talking? Flat earth material, or what? There has to be a catch, at that price! At least in China no one could really talk with me when they were cutting the hair. They'd just stare at me like I was a weird species and cut the hair. by burneraccount8421 (Thu 20th May 2021 10:55pm)
  • I can handle that for £7. by burneraccount8421 (Thu 20th May 2021 11:07pm)
  • Tony's checks out on Google maps. Pretty much exclusively 5 star reviews, talk of £5 haircuts, and mention of quality "chat*. The reviews are all at least a year old, so £5 in Covid times is unreasonable, and the quality of the patter is subjective, but it's 0.9 of a mile from my gaff, so I'm going to take the risk on Tony. I'm not tight or anything like that, by the way, I just refuse to pay a lot of money for such a simple thing. I'll probably give him a tenner, no change, if it all works out. I'd rather tip a poor man than give a rich man what he thinks he deserves. by burneraccount8421 (Thu 20th May 2021 11:19pm)
  • Cheers, I'm fairly sold on this Tony guy, though. I'm a regular and frequent cutee of hair, though, so I'll bear that in mind for next time, of Tony's goes tits up! by burneraccount8421 (Thu 20th May 2021 11:21pm)
  • Me too! I posted it once, no idea what the problem is. by burneraccount8421 (Fri 21st May 2021 1:28pm)
  • Just been to Tony's. No frills, no waiting about. He did a reasonable job, I'd say, and his patter was good. No dad jokes, just the usual Covid talk. He had a very fair and reasonable take on the whole thing. 5 stars, will definitely use again! by burneraccount8421 (Fri 21st May 2021 2:02pm)
  • Even at level 0, there are still a fair amount of restrictions around groups of people gathering anywhere, indoors or out. What's below level 0? When will we be allowed to do what we want to do? Is that gone, forever? I can't remember the last time anyone actually died from it in Scotland. How can I see those figures? I don't really follow it all too keenly, nowadays, but it seems like every time I've checked recently, there have been no deaths in Scotland. by burneraccount8421 (Sun 23rd May 2021 7:00pm)
  • It's the same at townhead next to the hospital. by burneraccount8421 (Wed 27th Oct 2021 7:23pm)
