  • Hey xx if your wife can accept help addaction, aa and cares (and local drug workers such as LADS ( that's Lanarkshire tho) so the Glasgow equivalent) can help, from the pharmacy side there are drugs that can block alcohol and other drugs from the reward centres of the brain and help addicts recover (I work with drug and addiction workers daily in my job). The kids have to come first hun... If you and the wife can at least talk about visitation or her leaving the house for a while that would be brilliant, if she could agree to see the GP to be referred on, that would also be amazing, only thing is she has to agree to it and stick to her sobriety plan... If not then I think you'd have a good case for the lawyers, I do think the kids need out though... If she loves you and she puts you through this then it's not a massive jump to think the kids maybe in a dangerous position too. Hope you get sorted mate xx by cat_stiel (Tue 7th Jan 2020 6:44pm)
  • Sweetie, good luck, not that you will need it cause Glasgow is welcoming. Loads of great spaces in merchant City and the book shop in the west end. Sending love xx by cat_stiel (Mon 13th Jan 2020 12:48pm)

  • This annoys me so much, I work in a chemist, we had to get one of my colleagues husbands to ask his boss (who went to uni with our owner) to help us out... Last week hand gel was avaliable but we get stuff from sense (the company that makes household stuff, money goes to the blind in Glasgow) and their hand gel was disgusting, had that granny musk/impulse musk body spray smell, so I planked it and bought a large carex one out my own pocket, fast forward to now.. No hand gel anywhere to be found, had to take the one I got home for my daughter who is diagnosed OCD put the granny one back and my colleagues hubby came through for us, got a pure alcohol foam one from his work..... Then Monday happened, two surgeries said they were triaging patients and sent both to a chemist 😐 NOT THE PROTOCOL 😐 ANYWAY STOP NICKING THINGS FROM HOSPITALS AND STOP HOARDING πŸ›‘πŸš«πŸ›‘ WANKERS XX by cat_stiel (Wed 11th Mar 2020 7:30pm)

  • Apparently her "uncle" was with her , the fact she was 18-24 and he was 50 + hanging off the corner of the door way while she aspirated clear liquid while some poor irish lassie and her pal tried to phone 999 while i helped , leads me to a certain conclusion by cat_stiel (Sun 12th Dec 2021 2:40am)
  • Why was he not helping her knowing she is his family? Even though he wasnt falling over drunk and seemed to understand the questions asked , acted as an interested bystander even when i asked if what i was told was correct and he was the uncle? Which he agreed to with not much conviction by cat_stiel (Sun 12th Dec 2021 3:28am)
