  • Thanks for sticking up for me, kind stranger. I posted an update, with my progress. Hopefully this person who I seem to have really upset with my plight can rest easy knowing he saved people from being scammer of their know knowledge and advice. If your interested, my update mate: I found a decent bedsit, for £350 per month, same in deposit, which includes bills and ctax. Almost was too good to be true but i viewed it in person and it was fine, so ive taken it. I managed to arrange a sofa surf across 3 friends to get me to next Friday. I took some of the advice on places to sign up where you get some instant cash into the account. One gave £15 you could use online on things like asos etc but most importantly Amazon, so i used this to order food online. I also visited a sikh gurdwara and got a meal, they gave me a tour to and it was a geninely interesting few hours, followed up by a lovelymeal. Additionaly, I tried again with my work regarding an advance and once I explained my cirumstance they agreed to advance me £200 tomorrow, to be deducted from wage on the next Friday which was really useful. £200 felt like winning the lottery and alllowed me to put down a £100 holding fee on the flat i found. I then visisted Glasgow uni, done a 1 hour experiment and was paid £8. This allowed me to stock up on food and toiletries. I also completed £7 worth of studies on prolific which I cashed out. Finally, and i couldnt believe the luck of timing, I am receiving the first cost of living payment of £326, which I had no idea id get. As im with monzo, i can see it and lift tomorrrow at 4pm, rather than wait to Monday. So all in all, since my post I managed to accrue \- £200 work advance \- £15 from online/in person research experments \- £326 in a cost of living payment \- £15 in onlne credit, used on Amazon. This allowed me to buy food, toiletries and put a holding fee down on a nw flat to call home. No money 'scammed'. I want to say thak you to everyone who offered advice and well wishes. To the guy who took the time to incessantly tell people I was a scammer, I genuinely hope you never find yourself in a similiar position to me - i cerainly never thought I would - and perhaps gain somecompassion. I was strongy compelled to level an emotionally charged insult at you but decided against it..the benefit of the doubt you didnt give , made me guess you were having a bad day and were being nasty due to perhaos instances which were scams, so fair enough. I hope by listing what I done, and how I used it, I may have restored some faith in these ''type' of posts, and in the future some folk may not be so quick to assume scam, whilist making concerted efforts to undermine the legitimacy of the post. Kicking a guy when he's down is not cool and there was plentu waus to avoid beimg scammed, though im stil mythd as to what the poster Crabitta felt was scamming. Again, to those who helped, thank you so much by champagnemao (Fri 15th Jul 2022 1:52am)
