Sorry, not a shitpost. Collected the kids from school almost directly after posting then spent the evening at the house dealing with homework, diner, bedtime etc. What I would say, is that my wife's boozing and drug taking is done almost exclusively while they are in bed. She isn't at the stage where she is waking up and drinking, though I know there is every possibility that this could develop. The two crazy incidents that I described, also happened while they were sound asleep in bed and were fairly isolated. I know this will get worse and that's why I am looking for advice moving forward. &#x200B; With nowhere to take them , it was a very difficult decision to bail but I am in daily contact and visit the house basically every day. Things are settled for now and she is not drinking. I did phone emergency housing on new years night and all they could offer was a hostel and I'm not taking my kids there. by cheggarsrottinggonad (Wed 8th Jan 2020 1:19pm)
