  • This place is great. Love having foul (Egyptian fava beans) for breakfast. by crapray (Sat 11th Jun 2022 5:19pm)
  • North Cyprus: there’s a great Turkish place in Merchant City called Efes Türkiye - the mixed platter is incredible. Eda is also great but I prefer the vibe at the former. Probably not the best options for vegetarians/ vegans though! by crapray (Sat 11th Jun 2022 5:21pm)
  • Will keep them charged, didn’t realise they can be tracked like that! Thanks, by crapray (Mon 18th Jul 2022 10:27pm)
  • I can see why people would suggest this, but I don’t think this an option I’m afraid by crapray (Sun 25th Sep 2022 11:31am)
  • How long ago was that? I’m going to trial the coach for a bit, really hope there’s no traffic like that coming back 🙄 by crapray (Sun 25th Sep 2022 11:30am)
  • When I took the job it was full time remote, so maybe I’ll have a chance of convincing them to make an exception. I definitely don’t want to leave for another job so I’m hopeful that they’ll be willing to compromise.. Just feel like it’s an awkward conversation to have! by crapray (Sun 25th Sep 2022 3:02pm)
  • Yes I think I will have that chat with them - seems like there are no good options really with the full time commute. Taking a train is just too expensive and the coach / bus takes way longer even if it’s cheaper. Will check out liftshare too, but less keen on making small talk every morning with strangers! by crapray (Sun 25th Sep 2022 3:06pm)
  • I’ve gotten the internal sleep clock working pretty accurately these days too for the morning journey… and I actually don’t mind the way home as I sketch / read and it’s quite nice. Only issue is the cost. Glad to hear you’re no longer doing that commute anymore considering how much you hated it! by crapray (Sun 25th Sep 2022 3:10pm)
