  • Meetup is an app I had a look at but as you said, there's too much of an age group gap unfortunately. Never knew it would be this difficult trying to find new people considering how many people actually live here 🤷🏽‍♂️ by datasianguy0 (Sun 19th Apr 2020 9:32pm)
  • I guess I can give it another look. I do like my hikes etc by datasianguy0 (Sun 19th Apr 2020 9:43pm)
  • I'm with you on the whole "feeling anxious" about going it alone. That's part of the problem. If I had someone to go with, great. Myself? Not so great by datasianguy0 (Sun 19th Apr 2020 9:42pm)
  • I'm game for that :) by datasianguy0 (Sun 19th Apr 2020 10:06pm)

  • I've set up a WhatsApp group with a few people from this post that are in the same situation so would be good to get to know everyone in that. I'm sure we can find other common interests other than bevvy 😂 if you're interested you can send me your number in the chat and I can add you in? by datasianguy0 (Mon 20th Apr 2020 3:31am)
  • Hey man, sorry to hear that. I'd like to chat with you then meet up after this lockdown. Sitting at home for so long has made me kinds lose my mind too. • I like cars but I can't say I've eve been in the "car scene" all it is is a bunch of people gathering in some car park and revving their engines. I much prefer to go on a nice drive in a convoy type thing by datasianguy0 (Mon 20th Apr 2020 5:45pm)
  • What's wrong with the garage you put it in? by datasianguy0 (Sun 7th Jun 2020 9:25pm)

  • Out of the X amount of people that will say yes, only a few will actually turn up, which will make it more manageable. But yeah, I'd be game by datasianguy0 (Sun 20th Dec 2020 3:13pm)
  • I deliver for McDonald's via JustEat and it is the worst place to deliver for so you're not alone. You always stand around for 30-40 minutes while their systems are always "down" Joke of a place by datasianguy0 (Sun 17th Oct 2021 8:47pm)
  • If that ever happens when I'm delivering I always apologize profusely and just tell them to request a refund via whatever app they used to order it from. Usually they don't ask questions and just dish them out. Done it loads myself by datasianguy0 (Sun 17th Oct 2021 8:51pm)
  • I made a similar post to this about a year and a half ago, so I know the feeling. Ended up making a big group chat with people that were in the same boat, but it never worked out for several reasons. I'd recommend trying the BFF feature on Bumble. I've met a guy on it who I consider to be a good friend now by datasianguy0 (Sat 23rd Oct 2021 10:35pm)
  • You're a cock by datasianguy0 (Sun 7th Nov 2021 5:17pm)
  • Give the BFF mode on Bumble a shot. I was the same, looking for friends and struggling to make one. Met up with a guy from there and we're now good gym buddies by datasianguy0 (Sun 14th Nov 2021 6:42pm)
  • Shisha and food sounds great! Never done shisha but would like to try it. I know I'm a day late but lmk if the mood strikes again by datasianguy0 (Sun 14th Nov 2021 6:50pm)
  • Yeah sure, good idea by datasianguy0 (Mon 15th Nov 2021 8:51am)
  • Similar situation in the sense that I have no social circle either lol. You could try BFF mode on Bumble by datasianguy0 (Sat 20th Nov 2021 12:33pm)
  • It's an app kinda like Tinder but also has a "BFF" mode where you can make friends. I've used it on and off and met up with a guy once that's now my frequent gym buddy by datasianguy0 (Sat 20th Nov 2021 12:37pm)
  • No worries! If you ever need a hiking buddy or someone to go a jaunt or whatever with, hit me up as I'm into that. Also on PS4 and PC too. All the best by datasianguy0 (Sat 20th Nov 2021 12:41pm)
  • Send you a DM. Don't think you can make group chats on here by datasianguy0 (Sat 20th Nov 2021 9:30pm)

  • Did they not ask for proof or a wage slip etc? by datasianguy0 (Fri 11th Mar 2022 12:12pm)
  • Online. I haven't actually tried in-store. But when online it says you need to visit a counter to validate yourself. Plus anytime I've emailed them with different jobs they say "you don't meet the criteria" Hell, even my wife who works for a charity whose biggest sponsor is Costco won't even give her one because she isn't "eligible" by datasianguy0 (Fri 11th Mar 2022 12:15pm)

  • I've returned with a suggestion myself. Melton Johns on Govan Road is decent with good prices by datasianguy0 (Mon 13th Jun 2022 10:30am)
  • Biker School in Hillington is great and you probably won't find better. Plus they're right next to Shieldhall test centre and are pretty good at letting you on the pad to practise MOD1 when you come around to doing that by datasianguy0 (Mon 11th Jul 2022 5:57pm)
  • It's a nightmare for learning to be an instructor atm too. A year and a half after booking the course, I've only just got my Part 2 test booked. by datasianguy0 (Fri 22nd Jul 2022 5:50pm)

  • That's alright, I'm still pretty inexperienced. I've sent you a DM by datasianguy0 (Sun 16th Oct 2022 2:36pm)
  • I'm a delivery driver for Just Eat and I don't go out expecting tips. If I get one, great but I couldn't care less otherwise. Tip culture isn't a thing here but if you want to do it, go for it by datasianguy0 (Sun 23rd Oct 2022 5:56pm)
  • It's per delivery and the fee varies. Fuel to be covered by yourself. Tbh I wouldn't recommend it anymore with the amount of shift grabbers now by datasianguy0 (Sun 23rd Oct 2022 8:54pm)
  • The way they calculate it is stupid. It takes into consideration how far you are from the restaurant then how far you have to drive to someone's house. I've had £9 from a 2 mile total trip before but then £4 for 9 miles by datasianguy0 (Mon 24th Oct 2022 7:00am)
  • People like you trying to normalize that shit is the problem by datasianguy0 (Mon 24th Oct 2022 10:17am)

  • Welcome to Glasgow buddy. Been dealing with this all my life too by datasianguy0 (Sun 13th Nov 2022 7:55am)
  • Stopped ordering takeaways. Starting to cost a bloody fortune by datasianguy0 (Wed 23rd Nov 2022 7:17pm)
  • Not sure if it's the same for regular tests, put you can put your test on hold for your part 2 & 3 for becoming an ADI. You pay the fee then they contact you when they have a suitable date or cancellations etc. Done that for my part 2 and got a slot really quickly. Will do the same for part 3 by datasianguy0 (Tue 27th Dec 2022 1:37pm)
  • Part of it might be down to people taking the cunt and just leaving shit lying everywhere by datasianguy0 (Fri 6th Jan 2023 2:48pm)

  • Hey mate, we spoke for a while last year. Good to hear from you again! The camera I have is pretty entry level. Canon 400D or something? I’ve played around with it a bit and got some alright shots so far. I’ll have a look at that program you mentioned, cheers! by datasianguy0 (Fri 14th Apr 2023 8:55am)
  • Not too sure yet if I’m honest. Probably nothing like live events or portraits. Maybe landscapes, scenery stuff like that? I’ll give you a follow cheers by datasianguy0 (Fri 14th Apr 2023 9:34am)
  • Definitely either hiking or just going for a walk/exploring the outdoors. I’m also in my 20s and don’t drink. Everyone I know does so I find it hard to actually find anything else to do. Even if it’s just myself. Or try another hobby? by datasianguy0 (Wed 19th Apr 2023 7:27pm)
  • I was there yesterday and got a single key cut for 9 quid. Robbing bastards by datasianguy0 (Wed 19th Apr 2023 10:15pm)

  • Self employed driving instructor. Just over £40k by datasianguy0 (Sun 14th May 2023 10:52am)
  • I’m many months out of a 10 year relationship. We were married for 4. She was supposed to be “the one” but shit happens I guess. I hate the online dating pish. Competing with all these fuckboys to get a couple of replies from someone, only to be ghosted really knocks your confidence. I’d much rather meet someone in person but I’m so horribly introverted and haven’t a clue where I’d start. I’ve heard a few people talking about Glasgow singles on Meetup which I might try. Good luck with the search! by datasianguy0 (Thu 29th Jun 2023 4:11pm)
  • This’ll be the next article on Glasgow Live guaranteed by datasianguy0 (Thu 6th Jul 2023 9:16am)

  • Foodasia in House of Sher by datasianguy0 (Sun 6th Aug 2023 4:00pm)
  • Speaking as a driving instructor, it is tough out there. Instructors are rejecting folk left right and centre because of how busy it is. My advice is don’t book any sort of block bookings. Have 1 or 2 lessons with an instructor first and see if you get on. Last thing you want is a cunt screaming down at you and knocking your confidence. I’ve had at least 10 learners from previous instructors come to me with this problem and I’ve taken them on. by datasianguy0 (Tue 8th Aug 2023 11:28am)
  • Yeah I got told a month ago it’s going to be well over a year before I hear back about being tested for autism by datasianguy0 (Wed 9th Aug 2023 3:39pm)
  • Self employed driving instructor. £32 p/h by datasianguy0 (Mon 21st Aug 2023 11:57pm)
  • Don’t live there but drive through it regularly on lessons. Avoid by datasianguy0 (Sun 3rd Sep 2023 10:30am)
  • Ignore it. Nothing will come of it. I had one from Asda Govan where I apparently parked for over 3 hours. They sent loads of letters and threatened me with court but nothing happened. Council fines are enforceable, private ones aren’t by datasianguy0 (Sat 9th Sep 2023 5:46pm)
  • It did. Didn’t last long when it was opened by datasianguy0 (Sun 24th Sep 2023 1:36am)
  • As a driving instructor, definitely Testi. It’s also worth paying the 11/12 quid it asks too by datasianguy0 (Sat 14th Oct 2023 6:13pm)
