  • Yes, they must have shit going on in their lives. But they are making the choice to behave in the way they are. Other people go through hell and make different decisions. So it doesn’t excuse the behaviour. by elsie3826 (Fri 22nd Jul 2022 7:58am)
  • I got a delonghi dehumidifier for about £150-200 a few years ago. I was using it with a heated aider for washing and I haven’t seen a spot of damp in either of the places I’ve lived since having it. by elsie3826 (Tue 26th Jul 2022 9:36pm)
  • 🤦🏻‍♀️ Airer, heated clothes rail! 😂 by elsie3826 (Tue 26th Jul 2022 10:09pm)
  • My mate in Liverpool had this problem, someone robbed one for her off a neighbour they didn’t like in another part of the city. Still cracks me up every time I think about it 😂 by elsie3826 (Sat 30th Jul 2022 11:23am)
  • Flypaper in the windows should get a few, the sticky yellow stuff by elsie3826 (Sat 20th Aug 2022 11:41pm)
  • I feel like this would be an excellent opportunity for loads of us to call and ask for a job, do the trial shift and fuck it up so badly they might start thinking twice. I’m thinking nose picking, arse/crotch scratching, coughing exaggeratedly in the food, leering at customers. Man this could be fun. by elsie3826 (Tue 6th Sep 2022 2:19am)

  • The feeling doesn’t last forever. I know it feels like it does, and it keeps coming back so you’ll never escape, but it does not last forever. If only we could remember and believe that at the time 💛 by elsie3826 (Sat 24th Dec 2022 7:47am)
  • Part of the argument is the environmental impact of demolishing and rebuilding homes. They are arguing that the buildings can be improved and upgraded as well as saving the negative effects on the environment. They’re also saying the new homes will be at a much higher cost to tenants. On the other side of it, if the majority of the buildings are empty anyway, is improving them going to make enough of a difference that people want to live there? by elsie3826 (Mon 17th Apr 2023 9:08pm)
  • Joked about them changing their opening hours to something ridiculous like 9-10am to someone the other day! 🤐 by elsie3826 (Thu 20th Jul 2023 12:21pm)
  • Baffles me why they’ve blown up tower blocks like Red Road, which admittedly needed a lot of work, but are surely much better for refugees than living on a barge? Did they ever build anything else on the Red Road site anyway? by elsie3826 (Tue 8th Aug 2023 1:16am)
